"We’ve been here several times. Food and service have always been good. We were late in getting our reservation for a part of 8 for NYE, so we were happy Eight Settlers was able to accommodate us. The food was fine, but the service was pretty disappointing. Often our waiter would disappear for 20-30 min without ever checking on us. At the end of the meal, we even had to go ask someone for the check as we were tired of waiting and had not seen the waiter for 30 min. If the place was crazy busy, I could be more sympathetic. But it was fairly slow all night and most of the restaurant was cleared out when we finally asked for our check."
