"Standard Chinese food in not the best area of Providence is something I was actually fairly happy to find. I walked in around noon on a Monday and it was completely dead but at least they were open that day when others in the area were closed. I loved the fish tank in the main lobby full of massive goldfish who always seem to have their mouth open looking to try and tell you something. I got takeout but the restaurant inside was nice enough to not scare away those that are leery of Chinese places, in general. I had the cashew chicken with a spring roll and fried rice for about $7. It was an adequate amount of food. The sauce for the chicken was somewhat salty (MSG? I don't know) but everything else was good enough to warant a 3.5 star rating for the food. Nothing to write to Hong Kong about but not the worst I've ever had by far, either. I'll be trying more of the lunch specials as I work in the area for a short period of time, it warrants a repeat visit which is good enough for me. There are few options in this area so I can assure you that Ken Wok is decent enough to be a staple for N. Providence."

"5 in our party. we had to wait to take a place, even though we had reservations. our server was excellent, very attentive, to check if we had everything we needed. our food arrived immediately and was prepared as ordered. as there was a birthday in our party, this guest received her choice to free dessert. everything in all twigs was not disappointed. we will return to dinner again."

"They call this orange chicken…Don’t be deceived by the size of each chicken finger, this overpriced $16 order is actually only a handful of chicken strips similar to the size of a McDonald French fry and heavily coated in flour. These are chicken fingers deceptively covered in sauce. Also the chicken taste drier than dog food.In a period when customer service is key to business success, they wouldn’t even consider exchanging my order upon my expression of dissatisfaction.The food quality (at least for orange chicken) for this restaurant has fallen in quality over the years. Try somewhere else."

"If you want to truly enjoy dim sum or Chinese food especially Seafood this is the number one spot in San Francisco! "It was great from beginning to end!!! Our waitress, Rachel, was so nice and helpful. Egg rolls, dumplings and crabs Rangoon were great!! The orange chicken was the best I've ever eaten and the tasty beans were AMAZING!!! I think I could eat them every day!! Will definitely go back and would definitely recommend Moon Palace...so go!!! Oh, P.S.... Rachel overheard me trying to taste bubble tea. She was so sweet to tell me and write the name of Joy Yee Noodle. We stopped and got 5 different flavors of drinks. All were delicious! "You cannot imagine what AMAZING means to me. Years ago when I was making jewelry, one of the dealers that I frequented on Mulberry St. recommended AMAZING for lunch. I tried it and ate there for at least fifteen years ! My husband went to Dr. LU the acupuncturist on Canal St. every Friday, and then we would lunch at AMAZING, every week for at least eight years ! About FORTY TIMES A YEAR !! Great waitstaff, who knew what we wanted before we did. And the Peking pork chops , and the roast chickens, and the ducks tongues, . "My new favorite place. Most dishes we've tried here are better than average. The hot and sour soup was good, as was the Szechuan Crispy Prawns. The sweet and sour deep fried fish was tasty but had a lot of batter. Still, we'd order that again. Also enjoyed the Moo Shu we had ours with shrimp. The Kung Pao Chicken had a good flavor but was a little overcooked and dry. We thought Cashew Nut Chicken, Mixed Veggie Beef, and Black Mushroom with Tofu were somewhat bland and not our favorites. Someone recommended the Happy Family Delights and we'll try that next time. We had no issues with the service when the place was mobbed, it took a little while to get our orders in and food out, but the waitress was friendly and joked around with us. She was working hard and doing the best anyone could with two large groups that came in at the same time. All in all, worth returning."
