"The customer service was awful. I made a reservation to sit at the hibachi table with my friends and they wouldn't let me sit there unless I ordered hibachi (I wanted sushi) even though I made a reservation a month in advance. The waiter was also incredibly rude and walked off several times while I was mid order out of frustration. Will not be coming back. Would give it zero stars."

"It's a small restaurant, so make a reservation or come early if you want a table. The sushi is superb and fresh. They've got unique options like a genuine caviar sushi and barracuda if you're feeling like going off the common path. Otherwise, they have lots of staples. The service was great and there's usually always a waitress looking out for any needing diners. The seating arrangements can be a little cramped though, so I do advise sitting outdoors or just ordering take out if you're trying to feed the extended family."

"I went to dinner at Fontana for the first time on We ordered both sushi and tempura style entrees. The food was very good, especially the sushi!The one thing that made the experience pretty uncomfortable was the number of people in the restaurant. It was packed! There was no social distancing happening as every table was seated. I was very surprised given COVID is still happening. I felt safe entering the restaurant because the staff was taking temperatures and wearing mask and gloves when we entered. Also, the restaurant wasn't packed when we sat down so I was very surprised when it filled in. I love supporting small local businesses many of which are hurting economically during Covid, but definitely do NOT recommend this restaurant for covid conscience people who want to social distance while dining"

"We went there on a Friday night. We chose Fontana because we could get a reservation. The staff was friendly and very attentive. We had tempura veggies that were so so. The sauce with them did not have much flavor. We also ordered Salmon, King Salmon, tuna, sea bass, halibut sashimi and an Ocean roll. The roll was okay, too much cucumber for my taste. Other than the sea bass, the sashimi was excellent."
