"We are staying in the hotel where this restaurant is located. When we checked in, our room was not ready, so we went next door to grab a drink and snack. We sat at the bar, with our service dog, and ordered drinks and an appetizer. The drinks were served. The manager came over and told us the dog could not stay because it did not have a vest on. It had its service dog tags, leash, and certification. He kept insisting this was law. It is NOT. We looked up NY laws around service dogs and there was no such requirement. We were in compliance. We will never return to this place despite staying for a week at the hotel, which is where we always stay in our frequent visits to NY. RUDE man."
