"My wife and I traveled to Sturgeon Lake, MN to meet friends for lunch at Doc 's Bar and Grill. Apparently they are famous for their bloodyMary 's, which our friends enthusiastically endorsed. I have to take their word for it since neither my wife nor I are drinkers. I ordered the Herman the German sandwich (best description is a Philly sandwich with saurkraut and pepper jack cheese) and my wife ordered the fish tacos. Both were quite good but not exceptional. The Herman theGerman was flavorful with tender and moist roast beef and who (besides my wife) doesn 't love sautéed onions and green peppers? The saurkraut added a fresh acid bite to a heavy, savory sandwich. The fish tacos were average and I found theslaw a bit on the sweet side. One of our friends ordered the pepper burger and it looked really good. The sausage and ground chuck patty was much bigger than the bun and it was described as delicious. I will order that the next time I stopthere on a trip to or from Duluth."
