"Had dinner with a friend at Noosh last night and the service was just bad.Friend arrived earlier than I and ordered a drink. Stood around waiting for someone to tell us where we could sit. Everyone just looked at us like they weren 't arriving at a restaurant. Finally, I asked, Can we sit here? to which I got a smile but no response. So weird!Friend 's drink arrives. Wrong drink. I order a vodka soda with limes (got a lemon . Soda water was flat. Asked for a new one and bartender tried to just add soda water to my slightly sipped on drink. Said, Oh you want me to make you a new one? For $15 for a vodka soda, yes, I don 't want you to add more water to it.No communication about the food, that we should put in our order, just nothing. We order through the app (for the love of all that is holy this is the worst! I have to look at my phone all day, I don 't want to when I go out. I hate that restaurants are doing this.One dish comes out. Waiter is confused if we ordered. Kneels down at our table while we 're catching up but doesn 't really say anything.Food was pretty great. I liked it. We ordered 4 dishes. All good.The prices are pretty steep. Remember, $15 for a vodka soda. That is flat. With lemon (not the lime I asked for .Mid bite, another person, not our waiter, comes and tries to take the plate of salad from my friend. Nope! Not finished eating our fairly pricey salad. It was good though.Never poured us more water. Never asked if we wanted more drinks (we both agreed we would of had 1 2 more had they asked . I just would have tried something else. Also, put a non sweet cocktail on your menu.Food was good enough to go back but the service wasn 't worth it. Especially for the prices which I could justify had the service (by all not just our waiter been better."

"Went for a birthday and we both enjoyed it. The hostess was friendly and said happy birthday once finding our reservation and the waitress was really welcoming. All the staff was pleasant and made our dinner a great one. Food was amazing, came to us hot like it just was cooked and and had great flavor. Overall we enjoyed our experience and will be back."

"I am not sure what has happened with this restaurant but the quality of the food has really gone down hill. I tried to give this place one more chance as it?s a neighborhood and local restaurant to us. However, after this last experience I am pretty fed up. My fiancé and I ordered a chicken gyro Greek salad. We asked for everything on the side and the chicken to be well done. Well.. the chicken basically looked undercooked (which I couldn?t eat) there was barely any feta cheese in the salad, the dressing was dumped into the salad making it soggy and took over 45 minutes to come. I will say I called and complaint and they send me ?WELL DONE? chicken gyro to accommodate. I do understand that mistakes happen and am not the one to complain but I would say if you order from this place don?t be surprised if you are over paying for Turkish style food. I would recommend sitting down in the restaurant and you will get a better experience.."

"We chose a la Turca for the food, size and generally quiet atmosphere. We really enjoyed everything we ate, but were less impressed with the service. Although we were the only ones inside, we had to finally call over our waiter to get drinks. He was more attentive after this, but not really engaged or interested. We did have to ask to have the music turned down, but neither this nor the waiter detracted from our fun. Overall, we had a good time. If the service had been better, I would have given it 4 stars. The food really is very good."

"This is the kind of place where you can get comfort food or a lite meal. Everything is authentic and simple. Pretty sure the kitchen was Turkish, although the menu only says Mediterranean. The freshness and natural flavors of the ingredients made the meal special. The service is friendly, warm and efficient. Also $15 Entrees in a Byob is something you really cannot complain about. We split 3 appetizers and the meat sampler and we are filled without eating a lot of bread for $53 before tipping. I could say from the waiter's eyes when he said no Baklava was missing something special, but I didn't have the room. I'm back."

"Joni Nelson is fantastic! Your empanadas are simply ridiculously delicious, fill and creative. The dough is so light and flakey and the filling full of taste. You have to try these little bites of heaven that have landed here in Wood-Ridge. The new store is attractive and the staff is so ready to be happy. I'm sure they're hugely successful. "I discovered this hidden gem last year when searching for a new dining experience, and my kids and I have been returning every month since. "Enjoy a nice lunch on a rainy Sunday in the Atlantic Grill. Able to make reservations was in an area directly from a beautiful gas fireplace. Tables are socially distant. Our waiter was very attentive. The food was great. Beer batterfish was crispy and tender, served with crispy frits. Hubby got Caesar salad with celebrities from this world. Clam Chowder was good too. Oh, I almost forgot! Yummy **** Marys. Guests can enjoy a return in summer for the outdoor seats."

"We love this place. The food is always so fresh and delicious. It's not fast, but it's so incredibly worth it. Make sure the baba ganoush try?s Really the best I? ve had somehow it? smoky and creamy and bright and refreshing at once. The fresh bread served with it is baked in the house. They also have amazing lunch specialties that are an incredible value are currently about $13 and change (September 2022). The best deal in town!"

"Sad. Falafel had no herbs in it at all. Not even parsley. I've had falafel in several countries and across the USA, these were the worst. We came here because we were wanting baba ganoush and the website listed it. Were they out of tahini when they made it? It had little flavor, poor texture and olive oil. Out of Donor, and other Turkish staples. In short, will never go back. On the positive, the lentil soup was very good."

"I am a hospice minister my wife is a social worker. At the end of our hectic week, we need to unwind decided to try this restaurant based on the positive Open Table reviews. We were not disappointed. This place has a fun lively ambience; the food was excellent (delicious generous portions); the cocktails were strong tasty. Our server was very attentive made great menu suggestions. And there was a wonderful duo providing live music that was so catchy you wanted to dance in your seats! This place is smaller the tables were pretty full, so we would recommend making reservations, especially on the weekends. Don't let the strip mall location put you off this place provides a great evening out!"

"beautiful atmosphere and personal. the thunder is great and most lamb dishes are great. a meal was served a bit too hot and I would have given it another 5 stars. we were there 4 times and it's consistent. all eating is good (not only the lamb, but I happen to be a fan.) the baba is also a tasty bite and the pita is great."
