"This is the fourth or fifth time we have dinned at Mario's restaurant. Every time we visit the Matthews area we make a point of having dinner there. Staff are always friendly and accommodating . The food is excellent. It's is always served hot and fresh. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal."

"first time to visit here. we're 100 times more. very cool decor and a perfectly varied menu. I have the rigatoni with boneless short ribs. very rich. pasta perfectly aldente. She's got the fig scarf. beautiful and fresh combination. our waitress, haleigh, was efficient and personal with well thought-out opinions about the selection of food. a pizza cook caught me when I stared at the beautiful Italian pizza oven and called me to tell me about it. I recommend"

"Been going to the Fez for years. This was an excellent restaurant when it first opened and was for years. Noticed a decline in quality ofFood and service about months ago and recently went back during restaurant week hoping it was back to the Fez I knew and loved. Sadly it was worse. Unapologetically slow and indifferent service. Portions smaller than they used to be and food quality not nearly as good. Don't even get me started on the slow to come and weak cocktails. I guess this explains why it was near empty on a Friday night. You used to need reservations to get near Fez on a weekend. So sad to write this review. I fear this place is not long for the ultra competitive downtown Stamford scene. Godspeed Fez, we hardly knew ye"
