"Had a pistachio paleta (milk based), and it is my favorite paleta that I have ever had! They make all the paletas in the shop, and explained the process, which was interesting. Also got the tostiloco which was quite good. I came here with my buddy on day 4 of a bike trip when we were hit by 100+ degree temperatures. The owner let us hang out in the air conditioned shop for 6 hours as we waited out the heat, and even kept us supplied with ice water. A big thank to La Monarca for the wonderful paletas and for their kindness. Will recommend to family and friends, and will always be back whenever I am passing through."
