"Wonderful ... Awesome and Amazing..... This is just how good that we found this restaurant....<br/ <br/ We stopped at this restaurant on the Marietta Food Tour, today. That 's right... we stopped here 'today ' and did a sampling of food. The option available was pimento cheese balls in a pepper honey sauce. And it was like heaven on a plate. I could have eaten a dozen of them and then been yelled at by my partner for eating all of them... But I could have and I would have.<br/ <br/ That being said... We had to come back and try it this evening. And we did. And it was amazing... We started with the goat cheese stuffed fried green tomatoes... And I could have just gone into a food coma at that very moment. Delicious is an understatement. We also ordered the peanut hummus. That was the only thing that we found to be just 'average. ' I really did expect that it would be more flavorful. And we expected it to be far less salty. A nice touch was the side of celery and carrots that were dipping options with fresh baked bread chips. But it wasn 't. And that 's ok. We know for next time. For entree, I ordered the Social House burger and a side salad. The burger was clearly ground in house and was of very high cut of meet. Being the owner (a husband wife team own the Butcher and Baker (connected that is really not surprising. (Spoiler alert... The husband is the butcher and the wife is the baker.... And they are amazingly talented. The burger, it was cooked medium and topped with caramelized onions. The burger is large... and it 's two patties. And though I have a really big mouth (no wise cracks I had to cut it in half to eat it. The side salad was a mix of field greens. It was topped with a balsamic vinaigrette ... Topped with french onions and blue cheese crumbles. A lot of blue cheese crumbles. It was a flavorful explosion. My partner ordered the fried chicken sandwich. And that is really a misnomer. It was not what you would expect as a 'fried ' sandwich. It was lightly coated and (what I expect was pan fried as opposed to deep fryer. It almost did not appear 'fried ' at all. And that 's a good thing! He had a side of hand cut fries. Fries that were crispy and cooked to perfection. (And I don 't normally like fries! There was no room for dessert .... Zero .... None... <br/ <br/ So what I 'm saying is that you have to give this location a try. This is just one of the many fine restaurants on square... But it 's a worthy one and one that deserves your attention and your patronage."
