"Be prepared to wait. A very long time. When we visited, we were the only people in the restaurant and wondered why. The setting was lovely, menu looked great, and wait staff were exceptional. We couldn’t figure out why the place wasn’t packed. Eventually, over the course of the three hours we were there, more diners arrived, perhaps about or so however the interior of the restaurant was still quite empty. The length speaks for itself; we waited about an hour for our starter, another hour for our main, then another for dessert to arrive. They very kindly comped the dessert for the long wait, but overall the wait seemed beyond acceptable. I was fortunate to have very good company. To their credit, once food arrived it was very, very good. My feedback and suggestion to the owner would be to modify the kitchen process to reduce wait time, or if this is not possible or desired, ensure your customers know, perhaps through marketing, that this is meant to be a leisurely meal and dedicate time to the experience. In our case, we were not aware and despite a two hour planned buffer, missed other plans later that evening with non refundable tickets. We won’t be returning anytime soon"
