"Had high hopes for the restaurant but they fell very flat very fast. We did not feel welcomed right from the host stand which carried through to our blunt server. He didn’t provide insight into the menu and answered our questions with yes or no without elaboration. Tea Thyme cocktail was fantastic as were the oysters and smoked oyster dip. Ordered the crab risotto and had to send it back because it was mushy, bland, and sour. I would recommend this place for HH drinks and oysters but spend your money elsewhere for dinner."

"Broken Spoke has already turned into a staple of the Hilltop area. It 's ' take it easy ' and relaxed ambience, paired with friendly and welcoming employees is amazing. Having a hairdresser shop in the bar is simply brilliant and a pure joy in combination to experience. Weekly events maintain foot traffic. You can say that the place has no stigmas for any group of people and are also the most friendly dog. Exterior food is welcome and there are amazing options right outside the door. Their beer stock is constantly moving with unique choices both nationally and internationally (important). If you are in the Tacoma area and want you to sit back and relax... that's it."
