"We’ve dined at Chalkboard in the past so returned when we came back to Sonoma. The wine list was fairly limited which is interesting being in wine country. The by the glass list was very short also. The green salad was delicious but the pasta was undercooked less than Al dente. We were tired and hungry from traveling so we ate it and left. I don’t think we will return. Service was fair waitress had a bit of attitude, like she was tired and wanted to go home."

"Service was pretty good despite the short staff. Unfortunately food was not up to standards one would expect from this restaurant. The lamb appetizer was disappointing;cold and meat ball hard. The restaurant is lovely so I hope it was just a bad night."

"We were lucky to sneak a Friday night reservation at Mushroom House for my wife's birthday dinner, and it was an excellent experience. Great character and the place easily accommodated 12 guests. Small area to your BYO drinks and cozy seating area are added bonuses. The service was on site and the food was very good."

"this is a unique and fun experience. we were not forgotten by the waitress she was very attentive. our fire place didn't seem to work, as they always checked it and there was something cool in the tent. the grilled cheese the child was a little soggy (he said) and one of them looked thrown together. everyone loved the hot drinks. I would recommend this as fun, various brunch experience."
