"They served half eaten food. DISGUSTING! We've been loyal to this place for years, tonight I ordered edamame and when I got to the bottom half of it, it was clearly eaten pods. We understand that restaurants are stressed and hurting so we're pretty forgiving but they literally served me some one else's half eaten food, and this can get people sick. This is beyond unsanitary!I took the half eaten container of edemame back to the restaraunt and the girl at the counter tried to BS me that it was from steam from crab Rangoon placed on top in the bag. We support local restaurants but will absolutely be reporting a Food Establishment Complaint with the city so no one gets sick from these idiots."

"Last Friday night, I went out for dinner with my friends. When the security guard checked my passport, he informed me that I couldn't enter because I didn't have a visa. He then asked me to pay him $20 to let me in. This completely ruined my evening with my friends. I find his actions unethical and believe he should be dismissed. There was a girl in front of me facing the same issue, but he didn't address her in the same way."

"Absolutely terrible! I used to love this place many years ago but literally everything has gone downhill. Tried this place again after not coming here for a few years due to the bad food and nothing has changed. My first bite of food was their soup and after chewing a bit, I discovered a sharp square of plastic. I kept this to myself thinking it was only my soup until the rest of my party of 20 spoke up with over 8 people saying they had plastic in their soup as well in varying sizes. We let two staff members know and all we were offered was a replacement soup (which we declined) and no apology. They also said they needed proof and came and took away all the plastic that we just pulled out of our mouths in their bare hands. They gave the excuse of the it “falling from the ceiling” which definitely wasn’t the cause…. There was also a constant leak of some unknown substance coming from the hood of the grill. Chicken was terrible per usual, super chewy and looked almost fake. Floors were slick due to the grim on them and then entire place just looked and felt dirty. They charged $10 for us to bring and serve cakes that we brought from the store. At the end of the meal I requested that the price of the soups be taken off the bill, the waitress I spoke to I guess didn’t understand so I requested she ask the waiter but I never saw the waiter and the price was never removed from the bill. I paid, left, wrote this review to warn people from this terrible establishment, and will never be returning there again."

"Best sushi in the area, bar none. They serve excellent sushi, as well as authentic izakaya staples like Umekyu, Nametake Oroshi, Yudoufu, Tsukune, etc. The chef's skills and attention to detail really show in the wonderful flavors of each dish. The dishes are priced reasonably, and there's also a variety of vegetarian options, which are equally delicious. Serving can be a bit slow because the whole place is run by only 2-3 people, but it's totally worth it."

"I ordered the Combo 3 and was very happy with it. It came with 6 pieces of California Roll and 6 pieces of mixed Nigiri. My order was prepared in about 5 minutes. The sushi and nigiri were quite small, but it was a satisfying lunch not too much and not too little. I actually liked the way they prepared the nigiri with way less rice than you'd normally get the slice of fish was the size you would normally expect, but the rice under it was very small I liked that a lot. It also came with a small container of miso soup which was very good. The total with tax and tip came to $22. The combo before tax and tip was $17.50 (they have several variations of their menu, but the one inside, on the wall says the combo is $17.50). I'll definitely be back. Everything tasted great and seemed super fresh and skillfully prepared. If you have a big appetite though, you'd need to spend a pretty penny in order to fill up here."

"I stopped here for dinner with a friend and had some ridiculously delicious sushi. The fish was wonderful and the texture of the sushi was perfect.The restaurant itself is family-run with attentive staff, and we never felt out of place or ignored. Everyone was super friendly and kind, and it seemed like a popular neighborhood spot as they often ran out of seats! There was even a cute little room in the back for large parties that looked like its own house with the decor.Overall I definitely recommend stopping by- I’m sad to just visit and wish I had a spot like this in my hometown!"

"Absolutely amazing. Lots of choices at really great prices. Everything we picked off of the boats was delicious and the options were rotated very frequently. We also ordered a chicken dish that was very good, it came with soup and a salad. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. This place must be popular because there was a line waiting out the door. Totally satisfied with our decision to stop at this location."
