"I wouldn’t trust the overall rating listed here. Go with your gut, and when you see reviews on how rude their staff is, you better believe it. I have never been here before, my family just moved up here so I was visiting. I decided to call in an order for my family on the drive there and the guy taking the call was very rude. How he speaks to potential customers would be absolutely unacceptable at any establishment that values their reputation and success for the business. The only way I see this place succeeds is because of the limited choice within the area for the residents. I decided to go across the street and I do not regret it for one second. They were extremely hands on and busy with the fact that they only had 2 employees working, but when I eventually had my order taken they were very respectful and kind. Their food was amazing too. I think if the Greenwood Lakes Bagel shop worked/trained more on their customer service etiquette, they would retain more business compared to whatever their customer base is like now."

"A hidden gem that I'm happy not many people know about. This place makes some really good tacos. The mole taco is one of my favorites. It's chicken with mole on top but so goooooood. You can get any meat with mole. They have a really nice backyard that's perfect for groups. If you cant handle spicy then ask them to give the pique on the side."

"We arrived a little too early before the restaurant opened, but the waitress let us in 30 mins early. We were hungry and wanted to order lamb chops. Alas, we had to order veal instead. And I asked for a tarama -my starting point for any Greek meal and lemon potatoes, another favorite of mine. The veal was tender and delicious and tarama along with warm bread was very tasty. Gregory's Corner is perhaps one the best small taverna in Astoria. What they lack in choices on the menu, they make up in service. The waitress who took our order was really on point and gave us solid recommendations. Gregory's is a nice cozy spot with a truly Mediterranean feel. The tables are well-spaced, and the decor is bright and breezy. Outside the restaurant is a little hard to make out up the street and is covered with too much foliage. The entrance is not clearly marked. Inside you can hear the waitress and owner arguing and speaking in Greek. It got a little intence at times, but was fun"

"We stumbled in this place and the food was excellent. We wanted to eat outside because it was a fabulous day. The waitress was extraordinary as soon as we placed our order. My daughter had the combined gyro and was in heaven. I had a bite and would order the next time. Spice combinations were excellent. I had something with turkey, cheese and avocado on a role that was delicious. I probably would have added salads and tomatoes, and on the other half I took home. We chose both French Pommes with our order that was the best of all time. It was such a pleasant surprise to find this place. It was perfect for us."

"this is my first visit and I chose this place as I am in the city for the court building. the woman seems to work herself and it wasn't very busy at all. I got the Cuban and it came out pretty fast because it was just herself. she is very attentive and has made her best with all of us. the part is very huge for the price (I could hardly finish my sandwich) although I am not sure whether they have a side of chips with it or not that it was necessary to have. a great thing I always had pressed qith Cuban is the tomato and salat stays on him when it is pressed, what should be cold and crunchy, always rough and soggy. to the happiness they put all cold ingredients (letter, tomaten, wobble, pickles, mayo and senf) on after the sandwich pressed and it makes it sooo much better taste. hopefully, if I ever come back here, I can have a similar experience again."

"This place is awesome! I just moved to the apartments upstairs and I came down with my 2 year old for some food. We felt very welcomed. The place is clean and nicely decorated. There are a big selection of drinks and food. I chose an al pastor burrito and got some beans and rice for my daughter. We were 56 cents short and the man was so sweet about it. He said I can pay it next time. The food was fresh and delicious. Super flavorful. My daughter loved hers as well. I'll be back to pay that 56 cents....and to order again and again! You've got a new regular :"
