"I'm going against the grain because I was very disappointed in this place. The great reviews to see and fried chicken livers on their menu brought me for lunch. We were the only customers in. Waiting for food was on the long side, but if it was cooked to order, I can fully respect the patience required for a freshly prepared meal. On arrival it became clear why it took so long: my fried chicken quarter and the liver were overboiled to the point of toughness, which is hard to do with dark meat. The crispy skin was beautiful after I had picked out numerous intimable feathers. Their special blue sticky rice was dry and tasteless. The included chili sauce (no other option) was too sweet? Fortunately, there was sriracha available on the counter. My GF was satisfied with her fried Gai KMG (kao mun gai) despite the $3 charge to add a fried egg that I thought was steep. I would have given them a second chance, except that when GF ordered a milk tea with whole milk, the writer said they had only no milk. It wasn't? Is there a non-Dair replacement okay?? This led me to think they never have milk, but nothing said that everywhere. There were simply too many points of failure, the experience of being an off-day"
