"Honestly,It's Christmas, I'm new here to Washington and my flight to visit my family got cancelled, because the world is upside down.SOOOO, I ended up not making anything or having anything ready for my solo dinner. I decided to get take out and of course, Chinese is the #1 for Christmas.I read a few reviews. It looked like a safe option for something tasty. However, I'm starting to believe people in Washington don't have tastebuds or don't know what quality food tastes like based on how many places I've been to that really is more basic tasting then actually good.I ordered General Tsao Chowmein Chicken.I opened them up and General Tsao is more like orange flavored, semi sweet, watered down chicken with A LOT of vegetables and the Chowmein, same thing again, I actually believe there are so many vegetables I'm eating a noodle salad then chowmein.It's incredible on the amount of vegetable to noodle ratio that's happening here.The flavor of the Chowmein is overcooked, so they're breaking apart into tiny pieces, watered down so little flavor, and honestly I hate it. I was expecting robust, full flavor, full noodles with delicious chicken to go with both.Instead I have an upset stomach, disappointed taste buds and I am down $35.I won't be eating here again, I doubt they'll read the review, but if you do read mine, take note, it's only ALRIGHT at best. If you want something worth $12-15 per entree, find a different restaurant.I would rate this place at less than $10 per entree and with all of the vegetables... I'd say $7.Sorry Mandarin Chinese Restaurant, you didn't make the cut. Let me know if you get a better chef. And again, I understand it's Christmas, but any chef a restaurant has should be a consistent representation of flavor."

"Just happened across this place and am quite pleased. The food was very well prepared with adequate portions for the very reasonable prices. We ordered the platter appetizer to try a variety and was happy with ALL elements. The shrimp toast was a standout. I had a combination lunch with Mandarin Chicken and was pleased, my dining partner had the best sweet and sour chicken she's had in years--a well done sauce. The hot and sour soup was also well done. My diningpartner thought she egg drop soup was bland and I would like to see the front and door windows washed, but other than that there was nothing else remotely negative to say!"

"I have ordered the delivery, also din-in and execution. the sushi is always fresh and eating is the best to Chinese and thai in this opposite and environment. the server are lovely and appeasing. the orderings are made with accuracy and eating is made with care. the restaurant itself is always clean and tidy including the bathroom. I really mean, I can't say enough good things about this place. it's just wonderful. "My go to place for Chinese food that I remember from many years ago. Some restaurants seem to have forgotten the flavoring that attracted American families. Fast service, pleasant waitresses and the best mai tais. I recommend the double....soups are great but my favorite is wonton. Wontons are never overcooked or rubbery like some places that leave them in a warming pot. Big fan of the duck and they offer it in a few different ways. Tried a lot of dishes, and never had one that I didn't like although I usually get the Chicago pork chow main. Egg foo young is another of my favorites. Portion sizes are big: always enough for later when hunger hits. They do a brisk takeout business, especially weekends. Definitely worth the trip from Smithfield. And now I'm talking myself into a visit!"

"We've been customers for years so really an update on past reviews. Best Chinese around and lovely people! Our consistent favorites are Orange flavor chicken, Peking fried rice, any sweet and sour, beef with rice noodle and Singapore style rice noodle. Moo shu and all the appetizers are really good as well. Try it.....you'll like it for sure! We even have out of town guests who request it while visiting and take carry out back to Michigan with them!!"

"I called in a order, after 45 minutes it had not arrived. So I called to check on it. The man who answered says, oh yeah it 's going out now . In my opinion that 's unacceptable, especially since I waited to order specifically during a time they weren 't busy. The food was of course was warm. The pork fried rice was good. The sesame chicken sauce was good, but the chicken was too chewy. The fried dumplings would have been good if they didn 't get soggy from sitting around waiting for the order to go out. I can 't say that I 'll order from there again."

"Absolutely love this place!! I wish they advertised that they exist. I moved from Florida to Georgia a year and a half ago and JUST discovered this gem from a local I met recently. I have been deprived of a local sushi and Japanese joint for almost two years and have been driving to Tallahassee and Valdosta, when it this place was right in my backyard and I had no idea about it. This restaurant sits between an urgent care and Publix, both of which I've been to multiple times and still did not see it. It does not stand out AT ALL, which is a shame because the hibachi is PHENOMENAL and the sushi is excellent. Since discovering this buried treasure two weeks ago, we have eaten from here five times. We cannot get enough. Whether your order your food to-go or to dine-in, the experience is top-tier. I've never had an issue with an order and we always place large orders. The dining area is usually empty, except for one or two people, but while dining in, I watched a lot of people order their food to-go. They would have so much more business if people knew they were there and that the seating was ample and comfortable. We have ordered multiple sushi rolls, all have been great. The steak and chicken hibachi is always cooked to perfection. The fried gyoza are crispy outside and so flavorful inside. The edamame has always been steamed well. The spring rolls are not greasy and are crispy outside. The only complaint I have so far is that the sweet potatoes they use for the vegetable tempura needs to be cooked longer or blanched first. We have ordered the vegetable tempura four times and the sweet potatoes are almost all inedible each time, we could not bite through them. I may ask them to substitute more of another vegetable if this continues to be the case. Other than that, no complaints, but the sweet potatoes do make up majority of the tempura order, so correcting that issue would be much appreciated. My children LOVE the little plastic accessories that hold their chopsticks together. Thank you for offering these for those that don't know how to use chopsticks and want an authentic experience! Side note: I am allergic to shellfish and they always add a note so the sushi chef doesn't cross contaminate."
