"I used to PHO-cking love this place when I was an undergrad at UCLA, and it's so sad to me how far they've fallen off. Gone are the days where they're open until 4 AM and their affordable prices. A bowl here is now at least $16 before tax, and I was disappointed at how the meat quality wasn't the best, the rice noodles weren't fresh, the broth was diluted and not flavorful whatsoever, and the vegetables were missing basil. I know that Vietnamese cuisine in LA tends to be lacking in general, but for that price, I would just go to Mama Hong's instead for better quality."
