"My son loves doughnuts and this is the only reason for us to look for ? shops… who am I kiding? He loves dougnuts but I love them too! And if I don’t eat doughnuts in NYC, where will I eat them? We weren’t exactly looking for doughnuts that day but we happened to walk by The donut pub so we went in to “have a look” ? The venue is strange: it looks like a bar but they serve doughnuts. There are colors everywhere so it’s not exactly a place to chill, more to order, eat and leave. Nevertheless, you may be there a while because their selection of doughnuts is huge and picking one (or two? ? isn’t an easy task. We got to try 3 different ones. All 3 were fine, none was wow. The staff was nice and the price was fair for NYC: I think we paid about $15 for 3 pastries and 2 espressos. It’s a nice spot when in the neighborhood but I wouldn’t cross the city for it.
