"we met our grown-up children in toronto and wanted a dinner place in the opposite. we were able to get a reservation for us this day and had an inside table. our server (I think it was eric) was great professional., friendly helpful. the food was delicious and we could hurry a visit without feeling. would definitely recommend and hope to return next time in to."

"This is my favorite neighborhood coffee spot, especially for meeting friends or having informal work meetings. I’ve always found the staff friendly and helpful, several I’ve met are of Colombian extraction and light up when asked about the food and culture there. I’m partial to the mocha and the beef and ham and cheese empanadas."

"BBQ and down home country cooking at its best. Breakfast served all day. Great biscuits. Chicken tenderloin is huge. Along with all the regular home style cook there is BBQ. I Had a rib and it was real good. Their brisket sandwich is about as good as as it gets for me at least. It's chopped up and a bit crispy unlike most BBQ places. And that's what I loved about it. They have pulled pork, smoked turkey, ham, brisket, burnt ends and ribs. Don't let the fact they are not a dedicated BBQ restaurant fool you. Richard has been large smoking meat for over 15 years. The sauce is a Kansas City style. Will have to try pulled pork next time."

"The food at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. The breakfast sandwich was unbalanced and felt like a joke. The sandwich consisted of huge pieces of bread with only 1 egg and 1 piece of bacon, lacking any veggies or other fillings. Despite the beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant, the breakfast was subpar for the price of $35. I will not be returning. The coffee was good, but unfortunately, my mug had no handle, causing my fingers to burn until I wrapped a napkin around it. Overall, not a great experience."

"Great service from the hostess team (huge thanks for accomodating my request to switch tables and from our delightful server, Kelsey. She was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and more than willing to find out answers to the questions that we had about some of the menu items. The food preparation and flavors were good but the portions are a bit modest for the price, particularly the brussels sprout hash. We tried all of the donuts on the menu and they are all splurge-worthy-delicious, ESPECIALLY the decadent cheesecake mousse filled strawberry donut (which deserves a permanant spot on the menu!!! . I appreciate the validated parking in the Hemisfair Garage!"

"Came here for brunch on a normal Sunday. It wasn't too busy but we were told right from the start there was a 30-40min wait on cooked food. So we were prepared for this, however 40mins came then 50mins and then 1hr? We asked the waiter apparently they lost our order!!! So we had to wait for another 15mins or so again. Noone even offered a sorry that we had to wait for nearly 1.5hr for our food! Food was ok, it was bland. Way over priced for what it is."
