"From the moment we were there, the service was notch. They sat and got an amazing view that was amazing by the way! Viewing the Coronado Bridge and the SD City Skyline. Our food was delicious, I had the Enchiladas Poblanas yummy! The Corn Soup was also delicious and the Kids Quesadilla was huge as for 3 people! our waitress was super friendly from Austin and spoke Spanish! Will definatelly back with other visits from the city!"

"Had a delightful brunch at the outside tables. Bacon **** Mary's were full of flavor, perfectly spicy, and tasted even better with the Shrimp Diablo appetizer! My party brought in a bottle of Mumm to try with the truffled mushroom and cambanzola cheese appetizer (corkage $20) which was AMAZING! ? The service was superb, even though they were very busy. Excited to come back again to try the Bolognese. Also, it was great ambiance to view the park and view everyone enjoying the day. Once the sun hit, didn't want to leave."

"Came in with the squad the other night after a long day of running train in Boulder. At first, I wasn't sure why we picked Japango as I typically do not like seafood, but there were so many non seafood options, like the sweet potato roll and vegetable tempura. The cherry on top was our server Riley. So attentive, kind and funny. Give that man a raise!! Only one suggestion. Get some peanut sauce!! Nothing hits the spot better than a sweet potato roll with spicy peanut sauce!!"

"What a fun welcome to my first visit to NYC! We knew we would be a bit travel weary and booked at the Castell since we were staying at the AC Marriott. Wonderful ambiance and Kim who took care of our bar order was amazing! Micheal was great with our food order. Delicious flavors. The ricotta and flat bread was incredible. The sliders and potatoes were delicious. The drinks were so good. Definitely try the House G&T and close it out with the nightcap espresso martini. The view is all that you expect from New York. Including a beautiful view of the Empire State Building. Thank you Castell for the warm welcome"
