"The boudin balls, alligator bites, buffalo shrimp, and crawfish were all fantastic. Based on these dishes alone, we would definitely consider returning to this restaurant. Unfortunately, the gumbo we ordered tasted burnt, so we did not finish the two bowls we were served. This was a minor issue that did not detract from the overall enjoyment of the meal; it likely would have been delicious if it hadn't been overcooked. The service was average at best, as we had to wait for refills and even had to get some things ourselves. Requesting anything extra seemed like a hassle, as it would either take a long time to arrive or simply not be worth the effort. At one point, I had to search for our waitress because she had disappeared with my credit card for longer than I felt comfortable with."
