"Absolutely THE best Thai food ever. Menu is very extensive for lunch. They're still open for lunch with a full menu. While not terribly pricey, there are cheaper places to eat. Plenty of free parking, good service, EXCELLENT food, close to the Boeing freeway and there's an Asian grocery next door! There is a lovely Thai ambience too."

"The food here is flavorful, but not spicy. We requested their spiciest (hottest 4 star) food, but the Tom yum Goong and entree were 1 star spicy, maybe 1.5 stars. If you like Thai food and do not like spicy hot food, try this restaurant. Other than, the food, not being spicy, we really liked the food and flavor was great"

"Seriously tasty. Got pad Thai with chicken paid extra for extra vegetables and I had plenty of meat, a large selection of extra veg. Asked for it very spicy and did not disappoint. It was not spicy enough for me, but it did tickle my tongue and give me a little sniffle, but I can never get enough. Most people will find it to be spicy enough and not overpowering the flavor of the dish. Staff was attentive, restaurant was clean but needs some love here and there, nothing work docking points over."

"Siam might not be the most authentic Thai restaurant in Chicago, but it is the warmest place for Thai students around University of Chicago. They serve students here generation after generation. The food tastes home to me. Catfish basil was the dish that we always fought for the last piece. The fried tilapia topped with special sauce is another dish we always ordered in the time of celebration. When I visited the restaurant last time, my friend who was there for the first time ordered the simple soup and it was amazingly good! I will definitely come back for food here when I visited U of Chicago again."

"NEW owners and menu. I wasn't in a few years because I wasn't impressed with the food. I went in today to see if it's different and yes, it is. Delicious green curry, Phad Thai and Fresh Rolls. This is authentic Thai with a warm ambience and excellent service. They also have delivery on Yelp for $3 and serve beer and wine. I'm excited they're here. As satisfied as our wonderful Indian restaurant Aahar- Top-Notch."
