"Unfortunately last night was our last visit to this location. We have always loved this location and the service we receive. Food is always good and fresh. I bought a deal on local flavor $15 for $30 worth of food. After eating we went to the front topay our bill and the owner (I believe. gave us a hard time. He first lied and told me we had to spend $45. Which in the fineprint clearly says for take out only, you just spend $30. After I called him out on that nicely he switched to well you didn?tspend $30, we were .30 off. All restaurants around here either round it for you or would tell you you?re just short, addsomething. No problem. We didn?t want to hold up the line and ended up just paying the bill. We technically saved $1. What?s thepurpose of offering deals on Local Flavor if you don?t honor what they say? Just left a bad taste in our mouth. We will be goingto other locations from now on. Highly recommend if using a local flavor be sure to show him the fine print."

"we enjoyed discovering this clean and family place. our table had carne asada, trio fajitas (shrimp, steak huhn) and another beautiful steak item served in strips with a family recipe spicy tomato sauce, called steak dos agaves. wow! a fresh and cozy atmosphere that proudly shows. a bit below the MX restaurants that are priced against, while eating is really an upgrade!"

"Great food and service. They have a nice bar area that is somewhat separate from the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and they have mariachi bands on the weekends. A very nice neighborhood restaurant feel- not a chain. A good place to have a party as they have a nice separate room at one end. Try it you'll like it!"

"Delicious picadillo nachos and beef fajita enchiladas. The salsa was super yummy as well! The lady taking my order over the phone was so very sweet, pleasant and helpful. The pickup experience was very nice and easy. I also appreciated that everyone had masks on and were super friendly. The takeout was also packaged well and had everything we needed to eat safely in the car. I highly recommend La Tapatia Montrose if you are in the area!"
