"Very disappointing experience. Server forgot to put in the order for the sides. The server brought out our steaks and fish. He then announced that the sides would be out in 10 minutes. He said he forgot to put in the order. We began eating the steaks they were cold. When the server came back he was told the steaks were cold. He went on to explain that he should have told us since we ordered medium rare that they would be cooler than a steak cooked well. I absolutely understand the difference what was more surprising was he seemed to be condescending in his explanation. In reality, most steak houses pride themselves in their ability to sear the exterior of the steak at temperature in excess of 500 f. The searing would make the exterior of the steak hot while leaving the interior cooler. The server did offer to reheat the steaks. Then one of the managers came over and said he would take care of us. He did he didn’t charge for the sides, and presented a cake at the end of the meal for our trouble. Late sides do ruin the dining experience. The Strip is one of the higher end steak houses. You certainly expect better given their reputation and experience."
