"I have been coming to the this place for sometime now. I originally was coming a lot when they were new and were promoting their social media heavily. The food and the quality was great. However, I took a break from coming here after six months and it is sad to say my favorite place of jalea and ceviche has dramatically changed in quality as the ceviche did not have a citrus favor but it was a bad sour as if it was going bad. The jalea delivery wasn’t there anymore and amount is significantly less from what it was back in January in 2023."

"The restaurant has plenty of space to accommodate large groups. The food was tasty with generous portions - we had to take half of it home. The crab and shrimp appetizer was exceptional. I can see why this restaurant has been around for so long - the service was excellent as well (even though we caught them during a lull in business). The Sunday buffet seems like something worth returning for. Don't let the dark appearance deter you from dining here."

"We love this tiny restaurant. The food is beautiful and delicious, each dish full of subtle flavors of its own. The staff are always helpful and friendly and the chef mingles with diners when he can. This has become our anniversary tradition, one we hope to continue for many years to come."

"lima taverna has exceeded expectations! eating was absolutely amazing. our waiter, james, was phenomenal and gave us the perfect mix of education, suggestions and overall the best service! we loved the ceviche a la taverna, the fresh sangria, the empanadas and dessert was also fantastic. we can't wait, come back!"
