"I go here all the time as a dominican myself the only criticism is please put less saltly flavor in the sancocho, i know we are to combine it with white rice but still. Food is good, beans are soft and delicious, and mangu is just right in texture and if you call they have the order for you to pick up when they say. Dining in they are good, attentive to come by, but sometimes it can be hard to get your servers attention when its not busy because they are all at the front desk taking walk-ins."

"We decided to try this place out since it was nearby. We found the ambiance to be very nice and the music gave us a party feel when we arrived. We were promptly seated and served. There are 80 or so rums on the menu and if you are chasing down some rare and hard to find rums, this is your place! The food on the other hand was not good. It was obvious to us it has been pre-prepared in advance and then slightly warmed before putting it on the plate. By the time the food arrived at the table it was a temperature slightly warmer than room temperature. It was a place we really wanted to like but have no plans of returning."

"This place never disappoints!!! We chose to sit outside as the weather was beautiful. The server was phenomenal helping us make our choice every step of the way. She was on point. The tortilla soup was great. Even the salad mixes had great flavor and was large. I ordered pork tacos on bib lettuce and my friend had shrimp and grits which she loved. The guacamole was outstanding! We loved everything. It’s now our”go to “ restaurant!!"

"This was our first visit to The Hill in St. Louis. It is an established close nit Italian neighborhood filled with restaurants, pubs and restaurants on every corner. Parking is curling everywhere. We arrived late on a Saturday night, so everything was crowded. We chose Guidos by chance. My wife had the Veal Picatta and Bruschettas. She loved the Picatta, but thought the Bruschettas were slandered. I had the Veal Marsala. The wort on each dish was great, and the salad was chefs custom blend and taste. We were very impressed by the overall texture and taste of all dishes, and service was excellent Italian! Since the diner is so popular, it was a bit loud for my comfort. Overall, Guidos is definitely a 5 ."

"This is our third time visiting Patio 8 and had another outstanding time. We were early and sat at the bar having great craft cocktails and watching the scene on the street. The bartender Estephe was an artist and used giant tweezers to add ingredients our cocktails. We noticed that the front table had a reserved sign on it and when the rez time came, it turned out to be ours. It was a great table on the bar deck one level off the street so really connected with both the restaurant/bar hip music vibe and the vibrance of 5th Ave. The service was prompt, courteous, and humorous and fun. The food is spectacularly good. We had the octopus tacos, ox tar tar (fantastic), queso mushroom dip, and rib-eye steaks....all fantastic. The steak cooked to perfection, wonderfully seasoned but was so big I could not finish it all...it had to be 20oz! A great value"

"i ordered pork shoulder seems like they cut the pork in pieces stir fried it used the special they had in salt the rice was from the day before so was the beans the worst meal i had in the longest time the worst on top of every thing you have to wait 1/2 hour the meal is excellent if you have to throw up if you fell sick come eat here you will throw up so much it will clean your stomach but beware of the salt HORRIBLE HORRIBLE FOOD go to a garbage can and find food before eating here it will taste better trust me KEEP AWAY"

"my experience in the paladar latin kitchen and rum bar in gaithersburg, md was fabulous. I celebrated my birthday with family and friends on 2nd november. our server was isabella and she was professional, attentive and friendly! she made the experience great! the young man on the host table greeted us with a smile and the manager even came out to ask if I wanted to put my birthday cupcakes in the kitchen until we were ready to eat them! this is a great location, close to a parking garage and they feel safe to foot around. "Tamayo was pretty busy when we showed up at 630 on a friday night considering game 5 of the Avalanche finals was just about to start down the street...we got a nice booth table inside right away. Now I've walked by here many times and have always wanted to bring my boyfriend here so we were excited to finally have gotten the chance! Waters and menus came quickly, we ordered and the appetizer came quick too....this is were my only complaint came...our appetizer was delivered and right after our first bite the main course came...talk about rushing... Anyway, the bacon guacamole was so good...nice garnished and a very nice presentation...the other minor complaint started with the app and moved into entree...this is a mexican restaurant...everything we had was garnished with parsley...not cilantro...maybe a supply chain issue? Our tacos were nice looking and very tasty...I ordered the Mahi Mahi and he had the pork with the pineapple...we shared and both were very tasty! Dinner for 2 with only water was a touch over 40 bucks. We are likely to return when we are on that side of the city!"

We asked if we could sit at another table because the peopleIn the party we’re very tall and sitting right at the door would be an issue. The young woman snapped at us staring it will be minutes and walked away. For over minutes we were left standing on the patio and the person NEVER came back to tell us what’s going on. My sadness because I’ve loved this place. Me and my friends spend a lot of money here and we often recommend this place. The food outstanding. Eventually the waiter took care of us. But a nite the white folks recieved their food before us and came in hour after us. We had to ask for everything."

"I've been wanting to try 1910 for a while and went there last night for Taco Tuesday. Tasty house margs were half off $7). Tacos were also half-off and were so flavorful, and with generous portions, too. Guac and salsa also rocked! We sat outside on the little porch which is on the street level. One side is tucked against pretty trees and greenery, and the other side faces a parking lot off of State Street. I just sat facing the trees and forgot about the parking lot! I did mean to check out the interior, which has a great vibe from the photos I've seen, but I'll have to do that next time. Wonderful attentive servers, too. I'll be back!"
