"we wanted to take my mother-in-law and not to a nice place to dinner without having to go to the city, as at the moment there is a lot of construction in montreal, which slows the dinge even more than normal. le bordelais was recommended by some of her friends to my mother-in-law, so we thought we would try. the place was quite busy, and the hostess was very friendly. our table has put another table with not much space in between so that the staff can go between the tables. there are a lot of menu items, including a special menu that includes suppe or salat and its entrée. (No, they don't call it a prix fixe menu. my mother-in-law chose sampi and asked for no sweet, no rice, but for pommes. her court arrived without sweet, but included the rice and a small portion of french french french french (additional $ 2.95). they are counted as homemade french fries, but they saw how they were a very dark brown color. my man had a surf and a turf, that was a 5 unzen filet, 2 garnelen and 2 langoustine. our niece had a braided bark dish and I decided to halibut with a Mediterranean salsa. my halibut was in order, but it was served on a bed of lukewarm kartoffeln. the suppe of the day was edible, a over boiled stracciatella. I would never go back to this restaurant, and it could be worth the trip in the city next time."
