"Glad I stopped by this place for lunch. There were two options when you walk in, a sit down area and a take out section. Love all the colors in the architecture. There is outdoor seating too which I would not be surprised if it packs in late at night. I chose takeout. Staff was easy to work with. I ordered chicken curry and a beef patty. The patty did not even make it home it was so good. The chicken curry was supposed to be my lunch, but I think it will feed my entire family for dinner. And it was good to boot! The prices cannot be beat. I'm coming back to try some more goodies."

"Everything was great. I had the 3 meat deal that comes with 2 sides for $13. I've gone twice. Loved the reggae wings, jerk ribs, brown stew w/rice, pork steak, sweet potatoes, and baked beans. DEEE- LICIOUS"

"I was looking for a great place for Jamaican food and I think I finally found my favorite place. I have tried a few spots in the area and nothing compares the amount of taste and the quality of the service I received from Tafari Tropics. I ordered oxtail with rice and peas, cabbage, plantain and an additional page Curry chicken. The oxtail has amazing taste and not on the amount of meat they serve with the oxtail. The curry chicken again has enormous taste and only the correct amount of spices. I also ordered curry goats with rice and peas, cabbage and plantain. The curry goat was very delicate and just like the chicken had the right amount of spices. I definitely recommend this place. I'll be back to try some of the breakfast items."

"Honestly the reason I love this place so much is because no matter what I order, I like it. But if I was to have to pick just one it would be the curry chicken with steamed cabbage (actually sautéed, not steamed) and rice and peas. Evertime I have visitors from out of town I take them here, because everyone is always happy with their meal and last night was no exception. Save room for the super moist carrot cake. "Wish I could give no stars. I often order lunch or dinner from this place, but today seems little different. I asked for 3 curry chicken lunch specials. I got one piece of half a chicken leg in each one of the meals one plantain I have a scoop of rice and a scoop and a half of cabbage that was totally different from the regular cabbage the rice was dry. When I spoke to supervisor about it he informed me that they did not have any lunch containers left so I had to go into a big container unfortunately that is a lie because this is a small container. I nor my co-workers will ever go there or order there anymore. I try to support other people business but I will not give my money to this place ever again."

"I'm not a person that give reviews unless I feel the need especially bad ones. I've been going to this place a little over two years maybe. Now the food is delicious whenever they have what you need ready they ALWAYS out of something! One day about 5pm no rice and peas another day no jerk chicken about 5 pm another time no sauce for the chicken. When I first started going a customer was complaining about this issue I definitely feel his pain now. The only reason I gave a two is because the food is honestly good other than that I would have gave a one. The lady always at the front is rude and isn't customer service friendly at all! She acts as though she doesn't want to be there! If your that exhausted hire some help! I continued to go all this time because that jerk chicken is the best but I definitely won't be returning!"
