"This was our second visit to Old Lisbon and we went with friends who promise you a wonderful culinary experience. When we arrived, the restaurant was 2/3. full and we sat fast. Our waiter took our drink (bottle wine) and food orders and we waited for our appetizers to be served. We shared 2 appetizers, as I knew from our last visit, that the portion size is large enough to share. The sausage croquettes came out in about 15 minutes, but our eggplant shell did not. After all, we called our waiter and asked where he was, and he claimed we never ordered it when it was the first dish we ordered and we repeated it twice. Since some time had passed since we placed our orders first, we asked if the reordering of the eggplant dish would disturb our main courses, as we did not want them to be served together. He said don't worry so you know what happened next, they almost came together. On a 1-10 scale, the attention of the waiter to the detail would be rated 1 . Apart from screwing the order, he never visited our table to see if we needed anything unless we called him. The restaurant added the congratulations of the bill, which can be responsible for the bad service. The food was good, but the service was terrible and we will never go after this experience in Old Lisbon!"

"Overall, I have no major complaints about this restaurant. The portion sizes were generous and the service was good, although the server seemed a bit overwhelmed by a table of assertive women. Despite not being a fan of codfish, a staple in Portuguese cuisine, I decided to give it a try here. Unfortunately, my opinion of codfish remains unchanged after trying it both as a croquette appetizer and grilled as my main dish. The menu at Old Lisbon offers a variety of options including codfish prepared in different ways, large grilled sardines, beef, lamb, pork, and chicken. The restaurant is a bit pricy and my bill came to $57 after ordering a glass of wine, shared appetizers, my main course, and a dessert. The atmosphere of the restaurant is small, charming, and quiet, with easy parking available. If you've never tried Portuguese cuisine, I would recommend giving it a shot, but if you have, it's up to you to judge."

"We tried it twice. The food is of changing quality. If you're lucky, you hit the chef's good day, but apparently he has days, when he's in not such a good shape. The service is of lower quality (serving beverages nobody asked for, throwing the check on the table without being asked, adding tip to the bill like in the usual tourist trap manner). The atmosphere is not conducive to talking, because there is an infernal noise level. The air conditioning requires taking a sweater. I felt better, when I was out of the place again."
