"The local art group I'm a part of moved here a couple months ago after being received more and more poorly at the big chain café we had used to meet for the past several years (perplexing, since we're a small group, cleanly, relatively quiet, and always purchase food and drink, but that story is for a different review). I haven't been happier in any café or teahouse in the Boise area. This Moxie Java isn't much to look at from the outside, it's even easy to miss when driving, but the inside is spacious, warm, and welcoming. The staff has always been friendly, the food and drink is delicious with a nice range of selection (I love the sausage croissant breakfast sandwich and I still haven't tried all the different tea au lait flavors), and there's a huge array of varied seating such as the big wooden table with high-backed chairs that's reserved for our group once a month, smaller more intimate tables, or big comfy couches with pillows. A bonus is the great amount of windows, letting in lots of natural light during the day, excellent for reading or drawing while you sip and munch. I visit this café once a month for art meetings but if I'm ever simply in the mood to order a tea and sandwich any other time, this will be my first choice."
