"A group of us recently dined at Fair Grounds restaurant for dinner. Towards the end of our meal, my wife ordered two after-dinner drinks on the rocks. Upon receiving the bill, we were surprised to see a $2.50 charge for each drink for the ice. It was disappointing that the waitress did not inform us of this additional charge when the drinks were ordered, and there was no mention of it on the menu. When I asked to speak to the Manager, I was informed that he was not available. We want to caution other patrons of Fair Grounds to be aware of these hidden charges. Unfortunately, we will not be returning for dinner in the future."
