Born and raised in Southwest Louisiana, I don’t trust restaurants in the north that claim to offer “Cajun” food – I was too often disappointed. But let me say, Chief Patrick is the REAL DEAL. There's soul in this food. He has introduced the wealth of the golf coast flavor into innovative dishes such as the buffalo cauliflower. And when I ate his Roux gumbo and shrimp and grits (translated with Jumbo Golf Coast shrimps and locally produced green), I felt like at home. The place also conquered the inviting Cajun spirit and the service was fantastic. I'm only in Ithaca for two nights, but I've eaten both nights here. Try it. You'll never forget it!"
