"I really really wish I could like this bakery. I reside in King 's Valley and a bakery at the base of the hill would be amazing. However, after multiple attempts I have given up on them. The biggest issue I have with them is their lack of transparent pricing. For example, we had walked down for another reason and stopped in and wanted to be supportive so picked up a frozen french onion soup. It ended up being a $18 container of soup and filled a little more than 2 mugs (not bowls). Additionally, it was not really french onion, it was more of a vegetable soup that leaned heavily on what looked like cabbage. My wife and I both gave it a 2/10 and ended up throwing most of it out.We have also tried donuts on multiple occasions. Again, pricing was not transparent and although I do not recall the exact price, they were way more expensive than we felt reasonable. In one case we did not get to see them beforehand (which sounds common based on discussions with neighbors) and the donuts ended up not being donuts but cake donuts which is a very different process..."
