"Terrible. Sushi was not good quality. It was super expensive the all-you-can-eat. And to top it off, the waitress was super passive-aggressive. We left one roll of sushi that tasted so bad, and I respectfully tried to tell her that it was not to our liking. She rebutted that the fish is super fresh and that there is no way that it tastes bad instead of easily not charging us for the left over sushi. Because, yes, if you leave a roll of sushi, they will charge you how much the roll is worth and that roll in particular was 15.00$ extra. She charged us the 15.00$ extra for leaving a roll that tasted like plastic and laughed because she thought we were wrong and making it up. So the bill was hefty and the food was terrible, and to top it off, the service doesn’t do anything to compensate for the bad food. I paid and left and never looked back. It does not deserve a 4.1 rating, that is being generous. Plus it is not a buffet, it is all you can eat but it is crazy expensive."

"We just moved to this area, and we were SO EXCITED this place was still here after we visited 3 years ago. And I will say, the sushi was still amazing. But at lunch on a Friday, not only was it not busy, the service was terrible. And there were only maybe 6 tables being used. On top of that, the waitress over charged me on the lunch special and said it was because I chose a cheaper roll than the special. Yes, I chose a cheaper roll, so she charged me more....? The food wasn't worth the experience and honeslty the place could use a good cleaning and update. They did earn the 1 star for good food."

"I ordered for the first time from here today and I can’t believe I waited so long esp since I loveee Sushi! I’ve tried many places in the area and I think this is one of the best I’ve gotten! "Went to celebrate my Birthday with 3 others and we had a great time on a Sunday early evening reservation. Food was very good with ample portions and great service, even though it was empty. "Great place, friendly staff. Resturant is alway clean and free of any kind of odor unlike the delmar location. The food is amazing. I have gotten there lunch boxes many time, you get a nice amount of food for $10. And there ccc roll and shrimp tempura rolls are addictive! Eat here damn near once a week lol"

"we went to my friend's 31st birthday during the afternoon at 1 o'clock, we had a 1pm reservation, we didn't sit almost 1:30. they were all the tables open as they had opened at 1 o'clock. After 20 minutes, I was how we can get tired so we can start to order appetizers and drinks. they were as if they had our table. (I work at a Hibachi Square, we go in an hour early to set up, not after we are already open) we sit, order our drinks and appetizers, and she wanted to put in our hibachi, I said no we are not rushing, they can wait until the appetizers come, we want to enjoy our experience and not be rushed. the Hibachi cook came out and boiled, he was okay, except he gave the nudel orders to the wrong person, so he had to go back and grab them, but they had to cook my friends next to order of huh in the back because the cook already began to cook (but the nudels errors on the grill they could not share the sheck for a party of 6 (3 couples) ( when the bill came, we had to find out our own amounts and the tipp was not included. must know how bad she was in service. I was there in the past and had better experiences. but this was terrible. I even told the manager, and he scared it. absolutely terrible."

"Michi sushi cafe is a hidden gem in west chester. Located right next to acme, I usually find myself ordering take out from this restaurant during lunch. They usually have the most amazing deals while still being good quality food! I hope they never change their great deals. This time though I decided to come in for lunch and try something new! Our waitress was very nice and got our waters very fast. Our food arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken curry with white rice bento box lunch special. It comes with tempura vegetables, shumai, and a four piece California roll. The tempura vegetables were fried perfectly. The shumai was equally crispy and was one of my favorites! The California roll nicely balanced out the heavily fried aspect of the box. You can really tell how good a restaurant is by their rice and the rice was cooked perfectly! As for the chicken curry, I think I may have misinterpreted what I was going to get. The chicken was more on the boiled side of things, which is not my favorite. I had to set the chicken to the side. The sautéed vegetables however made up for that! Mildly spicy curry sauce, which was more of a clear sauce with some speckled seasonings. I personally would not order it with chicken. Maybe I’ll try it with shrimp or just stick with the vegetables instead. The fantastic roll was absolutely delicious! As well as the spicy crab roll. Their sushi rolls are always addicting! I would always find myself ordering their signature eagle roll because of how unique the roll is. The roll is fried with cream cheese center! The eagle roll plays well on your palate with all of the different textures and flavors. I will always recommend Michi! Can not wait to visit again!"

"I ordered a few times from here. The food is always delicious, but I was so disappointed tonight that I wanted to post on this topic: bad customer service. I ordered the lemongrass chicken dinner without vegetables, but with extra lemongrass sauce. When I wanted to confirm this, the restaurant manager and chef said that I had to pay extra for the sauce, and as I had already paid, they could not accommodate me. So, I said, Well, doesn't it matter that I save you money by not having vegetables in my plate? Isn't it good that I want a little extra sauce? The manager was sincerely disappointed. I can't believe it. How ridiculous. You told me I could have something extra, but nothing more. How do they not understand rationality?"
