"I have eaten at this and other Sarabeth 's many many times over the years. It 's an old stalwart...not the place where you expect anything exciting. That said, the level of service at this location, on this particular night was lackluster, especially considering the dining room was less than half full. The waiter forgot one of two drink orders. The tomato soup was cold. When it was time to request the check, and i tried to get someone 's attention, after a few attempts to do so discreetly by raising a hand and waving, and then calling in a low voice, i finally had to shout literally shout to be heard. The person who finally responded was either in conversation with another staff person or was listening to something, but definitely was not monitoring the dining room to see whether any customer required attention. I hope this is an anomaly, not the new normal for an old favorite."
