"I’ve tried a lot of sausage gravy’s. The absolute best I ever had was when I was on vacation in Key West....until two weeks ago when I came here. I got the Southern Scramle and let me telll youuuu.....Mmm!! And you know how sometimes l, you just get a good batch, and maybe it’s a fluke...well I came back today and got the Country Fried Steak and Eggs...no fluke here ladies and gentlemen. Nice thick gravy, but not too thick. It doesn’t turn to paste as your plate begins to cool. Stays a nice fluid consistency. Not too salty. And no shortage of sausage crumbles. The kicker here...not only is the food great, their service is amazing. As soon as I sat down today, the waitress walked up with a menu in hand and asked what I’d like to drink. Then Sharon remembered me from last week and came over just to say hello. I consider myself a breakfast connoisseur, as it’s my favorite meal. And let me say, there are a lot of really good breakfasts places in the area. But Carmela’s has quickly became my new favorite!!"
