"I had recently attended a presentation dinner on June 27. I ordered the walley and it was exceptional. Unfortunately when I again attended on my birthday July 6 the food was not something I could recommend to others. The fish was tasteless and cold. When it was served the plate was cold to touch and by the second bites so was the fish. I was extremely disappointed. The service was excellent. Wait staff was courteous and checked back to attend to our needs. How can food be so delicious one day and an absolute disaster the next?"

"we notified the restaurant at the time we made our reservation as well as the hostess and our server when we arrived that we were celebrating a first wedding anniversary. they said they saw that in our reservation however they didn't acknowledge it at any point during our meal, despite us ordering champagne for an anniversary toast. Additionally although the majority of the tables in the restaurant were empty and there was ample staff on hand the service was not up to our expectations. They brought out three of our four meals, it took at least 10 minutes and a reminder to a bus boy that we were missing a meal, for the meal to be delivered to the table. there was no apology or accommodation. the food was good, not great and the staff seemed disinterested. there are much better places to go for that price point for lunch!"

"Our Winter Guard team was in town from California taking part in the WGI Championships at the Truist Arena and we needed a place to dine that could accommodate our entire team and parent crew of 30+. After searching around at all the nearby restaurants, we contacted this Frisch's early in the morning and spoke with Mandy, the manager. She was so hospitable and accommodating and said we would be more than welcome to bring our team in. Upon arrival later that afternoon, we were all greeted and welcomed and were all able to sit together. Our entire team was waited on in a very timely manner and everything was delicious! Mandy and her team went above and beyond in making us feel at home, especially given we were so far away from home! Our team will always remember this experience because it was during our meal that we also found out the team made it into the finals. Truly a moment to never forget. Thank you Mandy and your crew for making this team's experience one to remember. Hoping to see you next year!"

"The food was fabulous! We started with the homemade chips and beer cheese, which was very addictive. Then I had the Smashburger that was perfectly cooked. We finished our meal with the chocolate chip cookie in a small chick and the bananas groom with the rum caramel sauce. I was very happy. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing and the staff was very attentive. I love this place and everything about it!"

"We ate breakfast here 3 of our 4 days! Only didn't go the first day because we didn't know about it. Food was amazing. Super fresh, portion size was great and the wait staff was so good. Even the toast was good! I always think that is a true sign if a good breakfast place, when they take the time and care to even have good bread. The owner is incredible extremely friendly and wants everyone to have a great experience. If you are in the are this is a must visit spot."

"My friends and I had a reservation for brunch. 5 6 of our orders were completely wrong. The Chef substituted items from the menu with a replacement of his her choice without informing us or our waitress. The 'Classic Ham Benedict ' were prepared with bacon instead of ham. The traditional Hollaindais sauce was an orange, ketchupy Remolaide. The 'Hangover Cure ' was served with a seeded hamburger bun instead of a croissant. Shall I go on? The waffles were mushy, the fried food was overcooked and soggy. The **** mary 's were simply tomato juice w a splash of vodka no hot sauce, horseradish, olives nothing! This was a major disappointment most of us barely touched our food. And to the Chef.....To quote Sebastian Maniscalco He 's gonna make you whatever the hell he wants."

"Unfortunately, dinner on Sunday at Barmani's was really sub par. It was the first night of Restaurant Week and it seemed that the staff was just not ready for it. It took at least 20 minutes before there was an offer to take our drink selection. Then, I ordered salad as my appetizer and the marinated chicken dinner. After another lengthy wait, the waiter arrived with our dinners even though the salads had never appeared. We were asked if we still wanted them, but we opted to just get on with dinner and delete the salads from our bill Meanwhile, people at 2 other nearby tables were complaining about the wait and incorrect dinners being brought to their tables. Waiters were scurrying around the dining room. I rarely write a negative review, but this was so disappointing. The marinated chicken was tough, difficult to cut and difficult to chew. I have eaten at this restaurant 4 times prior to this visit, and I was really impressed with both the food and the service. I will consider this one evening to be an aberration and give it another try. I hope that this new entry into Huntington can be successful."

"Come here a few times. I'm not coming back. yesterday evening and the drive thur operator (the second person who took my payment and gave me my food, not the person who takes my order) was incredibly rude. not sure if I've ever been treated so badly while I ordered the takeover. also the person who took my order showed me a menu that had significantly cheaper prices than what the dinge actually cost. I have an order based on the trips I saw on this menu, and then I come to the window and it is almost twice the price. that started the very rude interactions. it's a shame. I love farmer youngs and was excited when they opened a place near me. I refuse to support a business that treats someone like that."

"We had a group of 12 and had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The gentleman who greeted and seated us was very efficient and accommodating. Our waitress, May, was very attentive and made sure our food and drinks were always topped up. She was very kind and considerate. The portions of food were generous and most dishes came with salad or soup, along with a choice of potato. There were plenty of options for both adults and children. The steaks, shrimp fajitas, and gyros were all delicious. Our dinners even included dessert, which we took to go. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when in the area."

"Enjoyed our first visit to One Bistro last night. The food was delicious and I cannot say enough about the service from the welcoming hostess to our informative, attentive and friendly server. Only got pictures of my food! My starter was perfect for a hot summer evening: melon, burrata and proscuitto over lightly dressed (EVOO) arugula. The balance of the sweet and salty was spot on. My main was the sea scallops over sweet pea and asparagus risotto topped with crispy pancetta. The scallops has a crispy crust exterior with a perfectly cooked interior. The risotto was also perfectly cooked…creamy with a slight bite it. The rest of my crew enjoyed crispy fried chicken wings, pizza, chicken parm, and surf and turf (filet and crab cakes). We will definitely return"

"Unfortunately, highly disappointed, service was mediocre at best, no personality from our server. Biscuits were amazing! Fried Chicken and Short Rib, just not good, no crunch on the fried chicken, literally sat at 8:01pm, and done by 8:30pm, not sure if they are making the friend chicken to order or not. Loved Yardbird when Jeff was there, was hoping Root Bone would be the same, it was not. Collard greens and grits not much flavor, either."

"This is the best burger I have ever had in my life. It was cooked perfectly to my liking - pink, juicy, and hot. The patty was larger than the bun, and I was so hungry that I ended up taking about a quarter of it home for my dogs, who absolutely loved it. We are bringing our grandson there today, and he is excited to try the bacon burger. The staff was very friendly, and the town is charming. We definitely plan on returning to this restaurant frequently."
