Freshly made Lavas Bread is out of this world and a must to have along with the cold appetizers. The most cost effective is the item with choice of 4 cold appetizers. Chicken Combo Dish with both Adana Kebab and Shish Kebab served with flavored rice, seasoned vegetables and the Dil Sauce is most recommended. Kebabs are tender and delicious. Keep some space at the end for the must have dessert Knaffe. Ambiance is traditional, service friendly and overall a great value for money for authentic Turkish food."

"I'm not the biggest fan of Greek cuisine, but I really liked the Vibes here. it was very nice, so it felt safe like a birthday/anni dining place. it was cool, like 4/6 of the plates in the meza for two were vegan. the other two were vegetarian. "Lebanese food is our Achilles. We've found some decent places but Oasis knocked our socks off. The ambiance and service was fabulous. The food was full of flavor and depth. The ghanouj was the best I've ever had and had this rich smokiness I've never noticed before. The hummus is a favorite with a beautiful, higher quality olive oil. The perfect texture falafel. The tabouleh was so fresh and light. The lamb shwarma was tender and seasoned well. The Arabic chicken wrap with the garlic sauce was delightful. The pickles were too salty and that didn't even matter to me. The Kataif dessert was out of this world! Go for the cheese! On top of all that, it's really affordable and we can't wait to be back."

"We have been going to kamil's for lunches and dinners, several years now. To the point that my husband Howard and I are more like friends with Kamil himself. Small but cozy indoor ambiance, where Kamil greets every guest. The authentic Libanese/mediterranean cuisine is really tasty! I love the chicken chops and the Kamil mix grill. The outside terrace is excellent for cool afternoons and balmy evenings. Hukka smoking is permitted, but it doesn't bother us inside or outside."

No vodka here alas, but good selection of Georgian semi sweet wines. Standout dishes included the beef stroganoff, the goulash, and the borscht, as well as the delicious kompot our small children guzzled down. A pretty restaurant, highly recommended for a special occasion. Note that their kitchen closed unexpectedly early (8pm? perhaps because it was a quiet Monday night."

I never had an experience like this because they are normally kosher and very picky with their food, but this place is dirty. They sent me a spoiled Beef Shawarma Wrap smelling disgusting. "I am a native in portland and a huge foodie. extremely picky! I rarely take the time to write a review. I also like to eat Lebanese, I have been in other Central Eastern Lebanese restaurants all over town and portland for some time and I am the typical foodie that is in its comfort zone and in the restaurants that I hardly like to change. for some time, I had no Lebanese because I was very disappointed by many other Lebanese, middle eastern restaurants in portland, they simply don't produce the same quality as they well use, that was until I left my comfort zone on Saturday 08/12 and tried zaatar. 1: from the beginning we were greeted with love (I was really amazed at the level of the service that I got here and especially it was not authentic as most of the fake service that they received from others) I felt as if they actually cared for me as a customer and my business and not just a number. many love here. 2: the presentation of the food was like eating in 5 stars michaellin restaurants. very well presented. no restaurant in its category presents so much details (see photos) 3: ingredients were the best quality of the Lebanese or middle Eastern food I have eaten. if they cannot decide to eat the Lebanese restaurant or if you think of the Mediterranean exploration (which is overrated and above the price) further they must see here in the did they want to eat here. this place is addicted. so addicted I came the next day for the Sunday buffet for everything they can eat (what I think was $25 for all they can eat) I was in heaven! heb! what to order: lamb shawarma (see photo below) grape leaves (be careful her looking for) I came back on Saturday and had 6..lol baba ganoush (oh yes, they want this 100% authentic dish) honestly they can't go wrong here. when you visit from the city, you will get a glass of wine and enjoy! wow payouts will come back! Promise you will not be disappointed! best Lebanese in America and in portland!"

"We tried this place for magical dining. The appetizers and the bread was amazing. Unfortunately, both lamb shank meals arrived luke warm at most. One entree was returned and brought back out somewhat warmer, but the rice was still cold. Both desserts ordered were below expectations as well.
