"The location was great, but the food was not up to the typical BLT standard. I have enjoyed meals at this chain in Las Vegas and DC- both times I was quite satisfied with the food and service. Particularly disappointing was the popovers. When we received ours, one was lukewarm, thick and very hard. It was as though it hard been cooked the day before, frozen and then defrosted. The other popover was close , warm, thickness was correct- but again, very hard. I ordered a steak, and it was not exceptional. Needless to say, I would not order it again."

"Order lunch from this place periodically. The food is not consistent. Sometimes it is amazing, sometimes it’s just alright.One somewhat annoying part is that you don’t always get charged the same price for the same thing. Sometimes it is about a $1 or $2 more than in the menus. Not a huge deal, but it is kind of annoying. You don’t know if the person overcharging you by mistake, because they don’t remember the correct price or if that’s done on purpose. A $1 or 2 on a $10 order is 10-20% difference. Other than that, this place is OK for occasional ordering."

"Incompetent, unprofessional, and ridiculously slow staff. Placed an order via GrubHub for 2 slices of pizza around 12:30am. Called around 1am to confirm that they received my order and was told they were “just waiting for it to come out of the oven.” At 1:40 I received a notification from grubhub saying that my order was arriving soon (within 10 mins). At 1:50 I called the restaurant again and was told my order hadn’t even left the restaurant yet and would probably arrive in about 20 minutes. After asking why they confirmed on Grubhub that the order was arriving soon, the man I spoke to proceeded to bark at me that there was only 1 oven in the restaurant and that the order would be here soon. I asked once again why they pushed it through on the grub hub app as if it was on the way already and was told it was intentional “because the driver was almost back and your order was gonna be next”. So not only did my two slices of pizza take 2 hours to arrive (at 2:28am), but the restaurant straight up admitted to cheating the grubhub system to make it seem like their orders were on the way within the given timeframe even though they were not. And to top it all off, when the driver finally arrived I was greeted with “are you the one who was yelling at us?”. He then proceeded to tell me how he ran a red light to get the order to me, as if that somehow negated the fact that my food was an hour late and ice cold"

"Will go back for the ambiance, great customer service and live music nightly. I think they are getting back to what people come to expect from Sambuca. When you go share a true review so they can make improvements. It's a nice establishment in DowntownHouston. The food just needs a little more love. Glows: They have remodeled the place on the inside and it is very nice andcomfortable!. Customer service was awesome from the door to the table. The service was fast. Atmosphere is fun and upbeat. Theyhave live music nightly. The drinks and wine selection are on point. You can expect a grown-up pour. Emmitt came to our tableand spoke with us to ensure we were having a great time. Hector and Sashay were great as well!! Grows: The food came out fast,but it wasn't super hot. Everything was warm in temperature. We ordered 3 sides for $19. We chose green beans, potato croquettesand Mac n cheese. They have great green beans but the Mac n cheese is not what you would expect. It was penne pasta with baconpieces and some cheese I guess. It was not the best. I was expecting typical Mac with a twist but this dish gave me pastasalad vibes. My dish had to be remade because I wanted my salmon cooked medium and it came out well done. They made it perfectlythe 2nd time. My husband's dish was good, but he mentioned it lacked the flavor of what you expect from etoufee. We paid $190for our meal and we didn't really enjoy it enough for that price. Once things get better we will definitely go back. We don'tmind paying for a meal as long as the taste and quality matches the dollar! Note: Valet is the best option when coming to thisrestaurant. Don't bother parking and walking. Smart to business casual is acceptable attire. They have a section upstairs thatfits up to 40 people you can reserve that overlook the stage where the live band performs."

"Ate there for Magical Dining but some in party ate off regular menu. Dessert on Magical Dining menu was half the size as regular dessert. Appetizers on Magical Dining menu also smaller than one ordered off regular menu. So, not such a great deal. The kitchen was unable and/or unwilling to make accommodation for a vegan diner who had been noted when the reservation was made. (Veggie burger is served on an egg brioche bun). Said they had no other bread and were “too slammed” to deal with it even though the restaurant was half full. Nice location but will choose another restaurant in the area next time."

I don't understand how locals like this aren't lubricated every day for lunch. 10x the quality of food as all local fast food variety and the prices are realistic about the same. "I relocated to the area five months ago and have dined at this restaurant three or four times. Each visit has been a delightful experience. The food, service, and value are all outstanding. However, the atmosphere could benefit from some modernization. Last night, I had the fish and chips, and it was amazing! The portions of cod were quite generous, and the fries were hot and crispy. "We visited for a Wednesday lunch. Our server, Benjamin, was excellent, but nothing else about the experience was enjoyable. The restaurant is worn and very dirty. Tablecloths might have helped disguise the poor facilities conditions. Our meals did not reflect the portion amounts or presentation shown in their ads. I had the Power Salad with Ahi tuna added. Except for Romaine lettuce, all the other listed ingredients, arugula, blueberries, sliced almonds, and sunflower seeds were almost non-existent. The tuna portion was also very small. Definitely not worth the $21 price. Our lunch for two, a salmon plate, salad, and one $10 glass of wine was $80 including tip. That is premium pricing that you would rightfully expect for an upscale restaurant with high quality food and presentation, but we did not get that value here. This restaurant, with a prime lakefront location in downtown Orlando, should be packed for lunch, but it was almost empty, and I now understand why. We will not return and do not recommend it."

"Wow, hold on a second. I couldn't help but notice that there are actual Italians working in this restaurant. It certainly seems that way to me. These individuals managed to replace Little Caesars (thank goodness!) and we ended up making a great spur-of-the-moment decision to try out some delicious and authentic cuisine. I've been to Italy once before, and these calzones really hit the spot. The service was friendly and overall it was a pleasant experience. The restaurant may not be fancy or very large, but the flavors were fantastic. The person sitting next to me, who seemed like a pizza connoisseur, even went up to the register to proclaim that it was the best pizza he had ever tasted. The garlic bread and knots were also exceptional. I can't wait to come back and try out their pastas next time."
