"Yes this is the same as the old CDB's in Lakeland FL, and is the same owners of the one that was in Tampa FL. If you have missed their famous Hard Hat Sandwich or there pizza, it is worth the drive to go here. We drove all the way from Plant City FL yesterday evening and they did not disappoint. The food was on point! We had a small Chef salad with their homemade Italian vinaigrette, a Hard Hat sandwich, and a small meats pizza. Everything was Great!!! If you never been here you should try it. They are basically 3 restaurants in one. They also have sushi and they have the Japanese and Vietnamese food as well with the Japanese Hibachi where they cook the food in from of you. We will definitely be returning again soon."

"If you want great home Italian gravitation this is the place (all my family ask it and know where it is as soon as they taste it). We have almost everything on the menu of fresh large filled Huagies (on the way every Hoagie beats in the area) to ingenious cheese steaks, pastas and chicken dishes. We also love their wings would love to know their secret coating, do not even need sauce that is so good. Friendly great people and service and get it fast service. "This is a family lover and we come here regularly. The owner occasionally goes around the tables and checks the customers. The tables are always clean, the staff is friendly. The food is great. If there is a problem with the food, the owner and the cook will come to discuss it with you and then make the necessary changes without complaints, what ever. The food is good ol' comfort food. In view of the rise in prices throughout the country, prices remain reasonable."

"Actually 2.5 stars. I would grade this place c+ at best. This place is very old and that's one of the reasons we chose it. But it felt more like a cafeteria than it did an old steakhouse. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked properly, but it didn'thave enough seasoning or sear, and it wasn't trimmed correctly; they left a lot of connective tissue on it and it made it verytough. My wife had the fettuccine alfredo. The sauce was rather bland, and she's glad she ordered the chicken to go along withit. Our server tried hard. Bottom line, we didn't hate it, but we were disappointed."

"what a fabulous place! we went to family dinner on Thursday night and everything was delicious. we ordered zapiekanka, pierogi, filled cauliflower, potato pancakes and of course kielbasa. for meat lovers I recommend their gondelka. the piece of meat was bigger than my child's head!"

"beautiful building with poor quality, overpriced eating. I had chicken piccata. we start with the salat. caesar salat and they do not make their own dressing. I can't prove it, but I suspect that they don't make any sauces of scratches and my dinner companion said that he thought his aubergineparm was frozen. my chicken piccata had no taste of lemon, the sauce was thin and it was bitter. there were two tiny chicken cuts that were hit to a quarter centimeter thick. they had no color, but we are still dry and tasteless. obviously overcooked. not even the rollers were made in the load. they were clearly frozen dough they just baked. three guests at this meal and none of us would go back. as the price my chicken piccata was $18. it could have been 6 unnoticed chickens on the teller. food costs were probably $3. menu costs should be three times their food costs. that should have been a meal of 10 or $11. not a $18 meal. I would never spend my money on this place again. Oh, and the service was bad. the waiter actually reached over one of my companion heads to give me my meal and we sat at a four tip in the middle of the floor."

"If you've ever crossed the bridge and saw this little BBQ hack and thought "No thanks!", think again! I held the other day and for 21.00 again half a pound of pork, 1/2 ribs, and one side of scratch Mac and cheese and the best topped greens I ever had. This jewel is unbelievable and as south as it becomes. Member is a local church that they even offer baked goods such as sweet potato cake, jumbo chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies. It's like a step back to the time where great Southern food, good morality and a 'Glad to meet you smile' all. I'm back. And if I do, I'll get one of Mrs. Iris's sweet potato cake."

"my wife and went to lunch on Thursday. to my surprise they have a happy hour of 11-6. I was in the mood for a good hamburger. we both had the classic cheeseburger $6 and I had French french french fries, my wife sweet potatoes. the burger was a good 2 handmade burger without falling apart. the pommes were good. we enjoyed the sun on us when we sat outside on this cool day. service was good and relaxing. we felt like on holiday. we were new to the east coast just move in. we could both end our French fries, so please I ask for a box and took them home to make kartoffel soup. have never made suppe with French pommes. add a russet bake kartoffel microshaft, scaloping caramelized, and the normal beer. it was great, it had the fried odor. we will enjoy an evening of Christmas lights there."
