"I was so impressed by this place! Went with a friend and our server let us both try a couple different wines we were interested in before we selected a glass. We also got the baked Brie appetizer which came with a delicious homemade caramel sauce and then split the carbonara pasta which had a nice kick to it. Everything was delicious and then because our main dish took a little while to come out (no big deal to us), they were kind enough to give us the lemon cheesecake. Our server was attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. They have a good happy hour deal too. Will definitely go back!"

"booth that we set ourselves at least 10 from the table away. the benches are not adjustable, so we are sitting in front of the entire meal. my steak was ordered well, but it was **** inside. the waitress took it back to the kitchen to cook more than to sit our kartoffel and get cold. as for the next question, they recommend to a friend, probably with a warning."

Unfortunately, it seems that the incredibly busy tempo carries on everyone. eating was not as good as usual, seemed to lack seasoning and pasta was overcooked and gluten-free. we didn't send it back because everything took so long (3 hours of meal to finish) the staff was overtaken when we overheard a server that called another name, we waited 20 min. for our reserved time and overall it was only 't the dispatch of an old friend we hoped for. the only reason why I write this review is to inform the restaurant as they still have 3 months to make some changes to accommodate this incredibly busy time and continue to be a fun time for their customers when they know where they are missing. we wish the owners and employees everything good and will surely miss them! thanks for great memories."

"This is my Go2 Italian restaurant in Bradenton. There are very few restaurants in the area that provide the kind of consistency and service I long for. Wheat and Water is one of them. My favorite there is the eggplant Parm along with their delicious house made pasta and bread that comes with it. "I've been here about 8 times over the past 2 years. Had a seafood dish once it was really good, had a ravioli dish it was really good. The other 6 times I had the gnocchi with the basil marinara sauce and a side of sausage. It is my absolute favorite pasta dish to order out and I will only get it here. I can cook alot of Italian food and I'm a good cook, but I can't make gnocchi and theirs is the best i have ever had. So, I always get that The food is always freshly made, it is really good and it's inexpensive. They have gourmet pizza which my dates love and I always sample it's yummy as well . Hate to admit it, but their gnocchi and most of their other dishes are better than what my grand mom made when I would visit her in Pittsburgh as a kid and way better then what I can make."

"Thin crust pizza was awesome, nicely browned crispy crust, just the way we like it. We will definitely go back again! Ordered buffalo wings, small salad an appetizer of Italian sausage peppers, all really tasty. Bread was served warm which is always a plus! Nice local neighborhood place in Buffalo Grove!
