"I have always loved chapala and often went to her original restaurant on caldwell years ago, but had a recent experience with a waiter called johnny that I wanted to share. I met a friend and her daughter (who made a very difficult time) for dinner on a Friday night. the daughter shared her story with us and was extremely emotional. johnny came by and read the table and the mood fast. he could have easily ignored the situation, took our order and could call it good. not johnny! he told the daughter that he was sorry that she was sad that we were going through all the hard times, but we always find a way through her. He pointed out that she was blessed because she had friends to talk to them. every time he was over, he had more words of encouragement and even gave her a hug when she asked for one. she really needed this hug! that is the kind of customer service they cannot teach! johnny is a passionate person who sees and understands the worth in everyone. he offered a young woman in the crisis a sympathetic ohr and friendliness that it really needed. when I open my bar, I'm stealing johnny from you to monitor the waiting staff. He's a phenomenal man and you're lucky to have him!"
