"This is a small, very clean, well-lit spot on the lake, the road is not far from the military road. The food is authentic Peruvian. The waitress spoke English for those who were concerned about it. We started with a small basic cue made with groupers. Small cubes of very fresh fish marinated in what they call leche del Tigre. Come with some of their very large corn seeds, a piece of sweet potato, a sharp salad leaf. We added a few squeezes of lemon for a bit more cooking. My husband likes sushi so he was fine, but I had to let it sit a little. For Entrees he had the beef stew that came with rice and thin slices of fried Yucca. The meat was delicate in a rich brown sauce. The proportion was still very large, but was very cost-effective. The charcoal grilled trout was fantastic. Came with rice and potato. Also on the plate was a plate of thin sliced red onions and cilantro to give an additional piece of texture and taste when eaten with every bite of the fish.
