"Used to have delicious food and great servers. I recently came not to eat here after a few years, and the food quality went down. Presentation was good, but there was no good season I order a Carne Asada plate. Besides, prices Skyrocketed. I can't blame her because everything goes up in the prices. I just wish the food was as delicious as before, especially with prices almost doubled."

"I am sorry to give this restaurant a low rating for the food, but in my experience, the taste of the shrimp was not pleasant. There was a variation in the flavor of the shrimp, but ultimately the 6 different flavors did not have the taste of the seasonings they were cooked with. It seemed like the shrimp were pre-cooked and then simply had the seasonings added to them. This was my personal experience."

"This is one of those restaurants that I've driven past several times and never tried. I can say that I am glad with the decision to give this place a try! Talking about food strictly; everything tasted pretty delicious. My boyfriend and I ordered the Guacamole Grande, which ended up with a lot more than expected. It also came this tomato salsa that had a spicy kick to it and was hot (temperature wise). I almost wanted to drink the salsa like soup lol. Steak asada fajita was super flavorful. Steak was cooked tenderly with a mix of onions and green bell peppers. It came with a pile of guacamole, beans, rice, and some salad greens. There was plenty of food on the plate. Boyfriend had the Steak Enchiladas (verde) and he says it was good too! The amount of food we had here was quite filling. In terms of the environment, you can tell the place was quite authentic... but the restaurant can definitively invest on upgrading. The place doesn't give off the cleanest vibe. Also not sure about the beans... I normally eat refried beans but these did not taste the greatest... Strawberry margarita was also okay. I do hope the owners invest on upgrading the restaurant because the food here was overall amazing."

"Well I feel bamboozled. I ordered the beef chimichanga meal on door dash. Just that.. $30 including tip. The presentation was good. The food liked good until I started to eat it. Low and behold, my beef chimi was filled with beans. Nowhere on the menu did it say chimi comes with 99% beans, 1% beef . Extremely disappointing. The side of rice and beans were just as disappointing. The rice had unnecessary veggies in it and it was bland and as dry as the Sahara desert. The beans, once again, zero flavor. Salt and pepper goes a long way. I 've been on the hunt for some truly authentic Mexican restaurants in surprise and I 'm left disappointed every time. 0/10, do not recommend."

"(Update i went there just this 5th may. To meet an old friend for margaritas. The salsa was now from a (tomato can, the chips were sub par and overcooked. The enchiladas took 1 hour to arrive, not even close to what was asked for. The guacamole was also frozen ****. My friend tamale platter was an utter mess. Flavorless soiled diaper presentation with the watered beans from a bag. Margaritas were bland, under punched, and seemed to take forever. They do truly seem clueless. Sorry. Just what I saw.... 5 may 2016 I had avoided this place because it always looks dead (unbusy and figured there was a reason. I was pleasantly surprised. service was prompt, warm chips and salsa right away, it wasn't busy, but my food came super quick. (carne res enchiladas. so an easy item very hot, fresh and quite delicious. plenty of beef for the price, tasting just the way it should. I am a chef by trade and am usually pretty judgemental. and I would recommend this establishment to any wanting a nice dinner out. great job guys :"

"First of all it's our first time. We walk in wait at the door IDK how many waitresses go by nobody acknowledges us. Finally we have to flag someone down, they seat us at the booth no menus no server. After another 10 minutes we have to flag someone else for menus (ridiculous). Horrible experience we asked to be moved to another table because we're sitting under a loud speaker. Management obviously doesn't have a clue on running a restaurant waitresses pick and choose customers and tables they want to serve. I mean I can go on forever on what to complaint about. Won't be coming back soon. Worst dinning experience."

"Delicious food and chill atmosphere. It is also very clean overall. I got to try the Camarones a la Diabla and the Enchiladas Verdes. The sauce on the shrimp was of a thick consistency and was full of flavor. It was definitely on the spicy side, which I loved. They were cooked perfectly. The rice and beans were tasty. Something about the fried jalapeño and crumbled cheese on top of the refried beans reminded me of meals with my grandparents en el rancho. The refried beans were delicious and authentic. The enchiladas verdes were also delicious. The sauce was mild and slightly tangy. I ordered an Agua Fresca de Jamaica, and it was remarkable. It was huge and on the concentrated side. It was okay though because I kept watering it down until I reached my liking, so I probably had almost two cups for the price of one ???? Regardless, it was delicious and totally recommend it. For dessert, I tried the Deep Fried Ice Cream. It was my first time ever having fried ice cream, and I really enjoyed it. The shell around the ice cream seemed to be composed of some sort of cereal batter. It was slightly sweet, which went perfectly with the vanilla ice cream core. The whipped cream did its job and made everything better ???????? I recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes authentic Mexican food. The staff was welcoming and prompt."

"My wife and I were looking for a new Mexican restaurant. This place was recommended by an employee. The restaurant is a small place in a small strip-mall, but don't let that fool you. We recently tried some other Mexican restaurants that were... yes, but the food here in Puro Michocan, everything I can say is WOW! It was delicious! I especially loved the fried beans. They were almost creamy. You were so good. We will definitely come back. The only complaint, and I hesitate to call it even a complaint, is the menu was a little hard to read. I guess my glasses would have helped. We'll be back soon. Keep the good work Puro Michoacan!"
