The food was outstanding and our waitress was genuinely concerned that we were happy and had a great experience. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated and I had a fantastic cocktail that included dry ice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Simply phenomenal. My wife and I traveled to Italy a few years ago and absolutely fell in love with the food (and learned the difference between Italian-American and authentic Italian food). Arturo 's is as good as some of our favorite places in Rome and Naples. We originally found this restaurant on Reddit via a best Italian food in Baltimore thread. Tonight we came back for our second visit for my birthday. Everything, from the appetizers to the entrees to the drinks to the dessert, was as superb as our first visit. An absolute gem and treat and a must-visit if you are in the area."

"My daughter and I frequent this place quite often when we're in LA. Usually late afternoon or early evening. Easy to get seated right away. Our waiter was very attentive. Ordered a glass of wine to accompany my order of the chicken with roasted potatoes and vegetables which was cooked and brought to me very quickly. Everything was tasty, no dessert or coffee for me this time.I will be back"

"Noise level was out of control. Could not here each other talk. Waitress was pleasant and tried her best. It took over an hour to get our food and when they finally brought out our dishes my wife's order was wrong. We had to wait another ten minutes for them to rush out her order. These kind of places fairly make it long term. Much rather have less hype, better food and service"

"Amazing service! I have visited this restaurant twice, my first visit was for lunch and i fell in love with the flavors of my meal and how quick the service is! My second visit was to order for a business lunch, 15 lunches were ordered and food was ready and delicious in less than 30 minutes. I ordered the carbonara both times and it was to die for. "Very friendly staff, great service. Unfortunately there were a few issues with the restaurant. (1) Ran out of beef carpaccio, 2) scoglio didn 't have much fish in it and I don 't think any scallops, 3) didn 't have a wine on the menu in stock, 4) the restaurant is very sparsely decorated and has a kind of warehouse feel to it, including pipes running long the ceiling ... not very romantic. Re the question that OpenTable asks, would you recommend restaurant to a friend , I really wish they would add a It Depends option. It depends on what the friend is looking for. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent."

"Simple ambience combined with a creative and delicious menu and a plentiful wine map makes La Locanda a popular destination in San Luis Obispo. The Butternuss-Ravioli Raviola di Zucca) presented with a hint of almond flavor and perhaps just a light honey glaze in the butter and sage finish, which almost as to treat itself to dessert BEFORE in a plentiful slice of Tiramasu with fresh raspberries and blackberries. Whew! And while I love the eggplants in exactly all vegetarian dishes, La Locanda presents a thinly cut, amply-layered eggplant parmesan Melanzane Parmigiana) with a perfect tomato sauce. I noticed that tourists and locals were greeted and treated like old friends."
