"Absolutely freaking delicious. From the oj to the biscuit to the bacon to the lettuce every ingredient is unbelievable and when combined to a meal they are greater than the sum of its parts. The location and atmosphere is casual yet refined, and the staff and family that owns it are so kind. We did have a reservation that they were 20 min late in having a free table, but it happens. The downside? Price... I am of the opinion that food should always be good, and charging extra for good food is silly. A glass of almond milk is like $7, the burger, if you add another patty, egg, and bacon, is $35.... I get that Carmel is expensive and minimum wage is high, but come on... a 35$ burger????? Delicious, but don’t treat it like any ol’ restaurant. It has a casual atmosphere, but you’re going to pay for fine dining food and prices."
