"my excitement to take my wife to eat at bb for months. I heard about it in the wmal radio and couldn't wait. I would read and read their website. the first red flag was when I asked for reservations. the person who answered the phone simply said hello, not answer with the name of the restaurant, so I had to ask to ensure. then I could hardly understand what they said, so I called again when it came closer to the special date. the same thing happened. Thank you, when we arrived, we had reservations, because noone was allowed to feed only when they had stopped. now for a culinary experience. our waiter was new and knew nothing about the bourbons and even told me about the available flights. he also knew nothing about any of the foods because managment and peculiarities do not offer any possibilities for one of the server to try them. obsurd. now to the only positive part of the experience, except the company of my amazing braut of 39 years. eating was amazing. one of the best steaks I've ever had and my wife's cured. the seafood we had with the steak (scallops and lobsters) were also perfectly cooked and were amazing. all that has said, the hard wooden chairs were so uncomfortable and your almost sitting in the round of the people beside you. we had to be lucky to sit next to a Gung-ho-Military guy who thought the F word was manifold. we must have heard it at least 75 times. Thank God it was good to eat. one last thing. eating is too expensive."

"Certainly pricey, but for a nice night out with your significant other it is the right place and atmosphere to enjoy yourself. We had the mushroom soup, I had the seafood paella and hubby the steak, cocktails were some of the best, and creme brulee for dessert. Great service with friendly attentive people."

"Hidden treasure, It was my wife's birthday and everyone made the day very special. We enjoyed the food so much. From appetizer, soup and main course to dessert, all food was excellently prepared and showed layers and taste depth. We even have food for our meal. I travel around the world every month and this food is comparable to high-end food international. It is definitely for people who appreciate quality over quantity. This place is the kind of restaurant we have been looking for in the Ellicott City district for 10 years and we were surprised to find that it has been in Elkridge for over 20 years. It's only 15-20 minutes from Columbia and Ellicott City."

"The craftsman is an amazing place to get a chic cocktail, d’oeuvres and dinner. Really amazing ambience. Our waitress Stacy personally handmade blue cheese pot olives for our dirty Martinis, it was delicious! She was very attentive to us. Absolutely would recommend this point."

"This charming restaurant offers excellent service, a diverse menu, and an extensive wine selection that may be a bit pricey for some. The standout dish was the Veal Loin Scaloppine, prepared in a Piccata style with a flavorful lemon caper butter sauce, creamy potato puree, and garlic spinach. The Fig Salad was also impressive, featuring fresh greens, crispy pancetta, and mild blue cheese, though we wished for more marinated figs. The Lobster Ravioli was tasty but overshadowed by a strong mushroom sauce. With careful dish selection and a few glasses of wine, a meal here can be affordable."

"We ate here last summer when we dropped our son at college. It was an incredible meal and the memory of it lingered so when we scheduled this summer's trip we knew we had to go again. The food is excellent. We spent most of July in Italy. If you'vebeen to Italy, you know that the Italians are serious about food. Therefore, our Italian food quality threshold was high as wecame back to the States for August. Mercato delivered with well prepared dishes that could have been served at the bestrestaurants in Italy. The wait staff here is passionate about food and about their restaurant. "This is a review of the final day in the old location. I was so disappointed and let down. Why would such a class act allow them selves to deliver such a sub-par service. We tried to order a meat and cheese plate and you were out of almost everything. In fact you were out of many things. This has always been my #1 wine and cheese place, and I hope they are doing better in the new location, but this was a very bad way to say good-bye."

"To begin, I must say that Little Alley has always been our favorite restaurant for hosting guests or commemorating a special occasion. The food, the service, and the atmosphere have always been top-notch. However, last night was a disappointment. My red grouper was dry, and both side dishes had to be sent back by our guest. There was clearly an issue with the creamed corn and the Au gratin potatoes. We still have faith in this restaurant, but we hope they can improve their performance."

"Absolutely loved the food! Went with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. The staff congratulated us when seated as well as when waiting on us! The gazpacho was unique and loved the flavor! The boulabasse was a large portion with a fantastic taste. The creme brûlée was very flavorful and I have tried many in past. Great unique cocktails and lots of whine to chose from. I would highly recommend dining at Watermark!!!! We actually were there the last evening open at that location. Appears they are telocating to the new Bridgestone building in December. I know if I am visiting Nashville , I will definitely go to the new location. It was a wonderful experience!!! Thanks for helping us celebrate out 21st!!!!"

"The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was I asked for a box for left overs, the waitress said she would box it up in the kitchen, I ask her to be sure to put in the fat I had trimmed off so I could give it to my dog. When we got home all I had was the fat scraps. Didn't get the nice piece of steak I definitely wanted to keep. Next time will request the box and put our leftovers in ourselves."

I have mixed emotions about the closing of Dresslers and the new opening of Fin Fino at Birkdale. "Came here for brunch with friends and it was really good. Not super unique food but very well prepared and presented. We each got a juice that was incredible. "Can’t beat the setting, right on the water looking north at the south end of Lake Washington. Absolutely beautiful. Great service here and the quality of food is top notch. My pork chop was cooked perfectly as well as all the sides we had. I’ve read this a 4 1/2 star experience and would give it a five if it had a little more variety on the menu. But there’s something to be said about a small menu in which everything is delicious. I’ll be back to try the rest."

"Food here was surprisingly very good. The fried plantain chips were crunchy and similar to a thick kettle chip crispy. The salad was mostly iceberg lettuce but the sauce and accompanying ingredients made a refreshing dish. The salmon, a fish very easily overcooked, was delightfully tender without being raw. The side of asparagus could be charred a little less. Mashed potatoes have a hidden spiciness to them! The beer soaked brown sugar drunken ribeye steak was pretty good overall, however they didn't ask how we wanted it cooked. When asked, they said they cook a tender pink medium steak but did not take a request to make it medium rare. Strangely while most of the steak was a tender medium consistency, a smaller side portion was closer to a better medium rare to rare consistency. The cheesecake was pretty good overall. The warm chocolate cake was a bit dry on the sides but delicately smooth like pudding. The desserts had a contrasting tart sauce that overpowered the cheesecake just a little bit."

"Fun ambiance. Good was ok, very overpriced for quality. Server was big in upselling and quite pushy. Asked if we wanted bread and butter, made it free, but it was an extra $5. The apple cake dessert was not heated all the way. The middle was cold and muddy. Could go back and get a drink at the bar and some frits. The Pommes were the highlight of the meal."
