"Omiya Sushi is the best sushi I have ever had. It's so fresh and delicious. Star Wars salad was amazing and house special rolls were so tasty, always made fresh, paired with excellent service. I highly recommend this place."

"I love sushi, and I've been to allot of restaurants throughout the bay, and I gotta say that Nikko Sushi is probably my favorite place now. The service is ridiculously on point. The staff all greet you as soon as you walk in, and they're all so warm and friendly. The food is wonderful! We got the baked scallop roll, the raiders roll, the Lion King roll, and an appetizer of shrimp tempura. We also ordered some sake, because it was $1 an order, which consisted of about 4 little cups worth, and they also brought us miso soup. It was all so amazing!! I can't wait to go back, I really recommend this place!"

"We made a reservation for 9 people at this Japanese Steakhouse for 7pm. We arrived at the restaurant about 645pm. No where is sight were hibachi tables. Being that it was a Japanese Steak house and we were at the other Wu”s we expected the same thing. When I asked they told me they have one in the kitchen for the cook. I was not thrilled about that especially since I called to change the reservation to 10 people and asked to sit at a hibachi table and was told ok! Looking around the restaurant I also noticed there were no large tables yet they kept seating people as they came in even if they did not have a reservation as we stood there waiting. Now I understand with a large group we may have to wait but they were not leaving an area open where we could all sit. At 740 our reservation was for 7pm). We went up and asked they said they were working on it. Then they proceeded to tell me that they don’t have large tables. Well fine then why when I called did someone not tell me that when I added. 10th person to our group!!! Finally at 815pm an hour and 15 minutes after our reservation they told us they could seat us as long as we split up. At that point we were starving and being New Years Eve we would not get in anywhere else so we said fine. We thought we would at least have tables next to each other but that again was not the case so we went out as a group and ended up at two tables not near each other! Then the food. We got our soup and salad pretty quickly but then waited for our food. The food came out and was not even near the quality of the Wu’s in Orland Park!! The rice was mushy and all the food had a strange tasting sauce over it. I would not recommend the Wu’s in Mokena! Go to Orland Park where the Japanese steak house experience is what it should be and the food is good!"

"I’ve been going here like 10+ years and it was always really good (I’m a young adult and I’ve been coming here as long as I could remember) and I know that a lot of people are really short staffed and I underhand that and I don’t wanna be a Karen but this time the food was very sub-par compared to the normal standard. To start, I ordered a spider roll and if you don’t know spider rolls are soft shell crab and some other ingredients which soft shell crab has to be cooked and this is my normal roll so I know that it is somewhat on the warm side but this time it was cold to the touch and it just did not taste right- the soft shell crab tasted as if it went bad or wasn’t cooked enough? I’m not sure but there was dark spots inside my fish. My tempura was also pretty sub par compared to usual but it was still ok. Overall however the experience was not what it normally is. I really hope that it is better in the future and I didn’t lose my favorite sushi place in Albuquerque. Also yes the food was sub-par however the service was really amazing and it is not the servers fault for the mediocre food."

"This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Impeccable service, which is hard to find lately. The food is delicious and the chef goes out of his way to accommodate special dietary needs! I eat a plant-based diet so I ordered a vegetable sushi roll and a noodle dish with tofu, no egg. I also ordered a curry, to take home to my son. The chef took the time to come to the table to ask me if I'm vegan because many of their sauces have fish sauce as an ingredient. I didn't think of this, so I was grateful to the chef to personally come talk to me about the menu, then make my meals without fish sauce. He also brought me spring rolls instead of the typical soup and salad that's usually presented with sushi, because they had animal products in them and he could make the spring rolls vegan. The meals were reasonably priced, more than fair in today's economy. Vegetarian options: Mention you're vegan or vegetarian and they'll accommodate. "Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one cooking style who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"My family used to frequent this place for years. I moved out of town and hadn’t been in for a few years. WOW how times have changed. Went for dinner with my family. Services started out okay. Not overly impressive but fine. Ordered fried tofu plate. The server (Rachel was her name) brought me an eggplant plate. Told her I didn’t order eggplant (I actually can’t eat eggplant). Server told me I did order egg plant. Told her again I didn’t order eggplant I ordered tofu. She continued to aggressively argue with me stating she knows I said eggplant because she had told me, “good choice” when I ordered and she loves eggplant and hates tofu. Others at my table told her they heard me order tofu as well. She continued to aggressively argue with all of us and then said we were “difficult from the beginning” and was actually physically getting in my personal space. The servers behavior was the most unprofessional I have ever encountered and was completely out of line. Management did minimal. Was nice and polite. Took my meal off the ticket. Which I told them I would not be eating and did not eat. Paid for everything else. Not about money, just facts. For reference, first time ever that I tipped zero in my adult life. Horrible experience. Worst service in town. Completely disgusting behavior. Will not be returning and will never recommend to anyone again."
