"Some friends have recently moved to Astoria and we were trying to find a place to eat lunch. After looking at reviews we decided to try Drunken Chicken because I'm always down to rate another fried chicken restaurant. I ordered the small combo (5 wings and 3 drumsticks) soy garlic flavor, mentai pasta, and ramen burger. The combo was inconsistent as there was a mix of juicy flavorful chicken pieces and dry tasteless pieces, The pickled radish that came with it was mushy, as well. 3/5 The ramen burger was a disappointment. Granted I'm super late to the fad and just ordered it to see what the hype was. The meat patty and toppings in the burger were fine, but the ramen bun was mushy in the middle and tasteless. 2/5 The mentai pasta was surprisingly the highlight of the meal. It was creamy, covered in roe and delicious. 5/5 My friends ordered the chicken burger and karaage. They said the chicken burgers (spicy and regular) were good. I got to try a piece of the karaage because my friend did not want to finish it, and I can tell why. It was tasteless and was not crispy. Might have been a little better if it came with a slice of lemon to squeeze on top. 2/5 They do offer 10% off if you order online, so if I were to order from here again, I would definitely utilize this promotion. Unfortunately, I would not consider this place a gem compared to other fried chicken spots."
