"The positive posters must be employees or the owners themselves. I should have been tipped off when we walked into an empty restaurant at sundown on a Saturday. It was clean and simple, not overly acessoried with seaside decor. Pleasant staff. I was talked into the shrimp pasta. The shrimp must have been boiled for the hour preceeding my arrival. The alfredo sauce was most certainly picked up at the local grocery store earlier that day. The only positive was the meager ration of buttered bread. Never again. Much too expensive for the obvious lack of culinary skills. There's a reason that Jim Shaws is the seafood restaurant of choice in Macon."

"The grilled cheese kids meal with fries was a winner. I love their hush puppies. Over the top with honey butter. Loved the choices of tarter sauce. Sweet and dill. Choices of fish covered all the bases. The coleslaw was pleasant. Most coleslaw is tart with a lot of vinegar and has a bite that attacks the taste buds. The establishment was clean and organized. Employees were friendly and kind. Treated us like royalty. We don't have a Skippers where we live but I would do the drive to get to this one."
